Henderson County 20 Paducah Tilghman 0

Henderson led 7-0 at halftime after both teams couldn't get out of their own in the 1st half. Very poor football all around. Tons of penalties. 

On a night where Tilghman played their best defense of the year, they also played their worst offensive game by far. This is the worst I've ever seen qb Jack James and it's not even close. I'll chalk it up as an anomaly as this definitley didn't look like him as we normally see. 

He missed wide open guys all night. I don't know if it was the 2 weeks off or what, but Tilghman was absolutely abysmal on offense. 

Henderson finally got the running game going in the 2nd half and chipped away with the game long great field position. Henderson has a really good looking kicker in Cruse. 

After several sacks by the defense of Henderson, I believe Tilghman will end up with less than 50 yards of offense. Henderson's time of possession had to be off the charts. 

Henderson moves to 4-1, Tilghman to 1-4.

You know the Blue Tornado better than anyone and I did not see the Graves or Mayfield games BUT I did watch the McCracken game. I did not see anything special about the PT offense attack. A lot of speed and talent (PT always has that) and a very underwhelming Mustang secondary led to a misleading passing barrage imo... 

I am sure 2 weeks off did not help but I am certainly not sold on PT claim to having a high powered passing attack. They definitely have a lot of young talent so the future does look bright.

I think PT beat McCracken and everyone wanted to anoint them class of 3A and then everyone figured wait a minute MC is not very good. I think PT will be ok but they are not what everyone believed after the first game of the season.

I agree 100%.... and I was not in the "class of 3A" camp.. it would be nice to see them at that point but that is a long way away for them.

I was heading to this game and got tied up on I-24. Was susposed to be a good one. Looks like Henderson is better than they were predicting and Paducah still has some work to do. I think both will win their districts pretty easy?

Is Union Co in PT’s district that might be a heck of a game.

Union is pretty good. They can run it and throw it well.

You're probably right but Henderson County has Daviess County and McCracken County who could still give them trouble and Tilghman will have to beat Union County.

Didn’t Union rough them up a couple times last year.

They did. And Union is better than I expected this year, although I’m still seeing that loss to Caldwell. A Tilghman win wouldn’t be a surprise. Should be an exciting matchup, one that will likely happen a second time in November.

Union won 49-7 in the regular season, then won in the playoffs 35-21. In 6A district 1, Henderson’s only competition will be Daviess county, McCracken Likely will not be a factor.
