The margin got out of hand late. Manual blocked two punts near the end zone in the fourth quarter (including one for a touchdown) that helped widen the margin.

Ballard actually looked like the better team for about the first six minutes of the game but from that point forward Manual really dominated the line of scrimmage. They had constant pressure on Ballard’s quarterback and the Bruins offense never really got going. I’m not sure Manual has enough passing to beat the Big Three but they have an excellent team and a nice defensive squad.

Thank you for more information, I was surprised by the margin, still think would say the best 5 teams in 6A are all in Louisville.

I saw Ballard play one time in 2020 and thought their punter took a long deliberate time getting his kick off.  If it’s the same punter it’s not surprising to me that he had 2 blocked.
