Wow what a mistake, not my finest moment there.

Couple really good opening round games, MC vs BG, Highlands vs Danville, T vs DeSales, and Lyon vs O-Cath. All of those should be great opening round games, and I would expect the winners of those games all to make it to the final 4.

Who was the other player, and against who?

Real shame one of these teams will not make it to the sweet 16.

That was an amazing baseball game, truly a great game to be at, have to feel horrible for Justin West. 20 strike outs out of 21 outs is one of the most Dominating pitching performance I’ve seen in a high school game. The ball never left the infield when west was pitching, the only hit was an infield single that went approximately 4 feet.

Lot of winnable games for a team that has struggled for a while now.

Your right in the 2000's, but historically, maybe one of the county schools was good, and at some points in time, they all were down. When Tilghman was really rolling, they were the only team in the county that was any good.

This game never felt close, McCracken got 2 runs right out of the gate, then the pitching staff held PT to 1 hit till the 7th, where they got hit number 2. Final hit tally was 12 for McCracken, 2 for Tilghman.

PT has really been hurt by the creation of McCracken County, before McCracken existed, if you were really good in the Paducah area, you went to PT without question.

What year was that? I remember the game because it wasn’t easily the upset of the year.

I would have given it Bob Beatty, Trinity dominated the toughest class in the state, won ever game by 28+, but Coach Hawkins and Coach love were also both very deserving.

They beat PT last year, but the two previous years they were 0-3 vs PT, McCracken, and Mayfield.

I would say that’s the one the could get, but I definitely wouldn’t call them a favorite in that game.

I struggle to find a win in the first 3 week.

I would also say reading the room that Henderson scheduled Boyle County, so they must believe they are going to be good, otherwise you don’t schedule a team of that caliber.

This is a really good schedule for Tilghman, adding South Warren, Henderson, and Henry County to the rivalry games with McCracken and Mayfield.

I’ll take Highlands by 10.

McCracken made them sweat a couple times but Highlands was in control the whole game.

Really good game, was 52:50 with about 2 and a half left, McCracken turned it over, then never got a chance to tie again. Game for the last 2 minutes was all free throw shooting and preventing turnovers.

I would say the lack of a shot clock in high school basketball ruined the last 2 minutes of what was a really close game the whole way. Game changed from basketball to keep away, but not trying to take away from Highlands they played an awesome game, deserved to win.

I’ve never seen a high school team shoot the ball as well from distance as Highlands tonight.

Was really impressed with there resolve, had many opportunities they could’ve folded, down double digits in the second half multiples times, yet fought back and made it close till about the 2 minutes mark when the wheels fell off a little bit.

Can’t speak as much as to what he did at Murray, but in his 1 year at Tilghman they woefully underachieved, Tilghman because a much better team the year after he stepped down.

Why would you want to put all your athletes in a phone booth, you would want to try and create space. Duncan ran only Bone at Tilghman and they vastly underachieved for there talent level, then the next year after Duncan stepped down, Smith instantly made them a much better team by spreading the field.

Duncan is like a wishbone guy, and with the pure athleticism you have at Christian county, I don’t think that would be a good fit.
