Luke Muller was the star for Highlands with 29 points on the strength of seven 3s. Sam Vinson added 15 points and 8 assists.

Ian Hart (15), Noah Dumas (14), and Brant Brower (11) reached double figures for McCracken. The Mustangs shot 57% overall and 71% from 3 and still lost by 10. Highlands always had an answer.

Really good game, was 52:50 with about 2 and a half left, McCracken turned it over, then never got a chance to tie again. Game for the last 2 minutes was all free throw shooting and preventing turnovers.

Never seemed like Highlands would lose but they also could never put McCracken away. Kudos to both teams for a solid effort. Excited for Ashland/Highlands tomorrow.

McCracken made them sweat a couple times but Highlands was in control the whole game.

Congrats on the win Bluebirds!

With 11 3-pointers tonight, and 12 in the opener, Highlands is on pace to shatter the tournament record of 33.

More to this team than sinking treys, but I do love a good sharpshooting team.
