I thought I read elsewhere that Burries is going to Christian Brothers in Memphis. -

Walter was def a beast against a mediocre St Henry. He had a couple nice reverses, dunks, ans strong rebounds. It was a mich better performance than against 7th ranked Lex Cath. Looking forward to seeinf him against Moeller next week and as he develops througout the year. -

Dislocation of what? -
Beechwood wins! I feel like they have five + solid players and that Scott may not have as much depth or talent.

Its def not for academic reasons. Otherwise, the Houston girl would have transferred too. I just think it is unfortunate the kids are put through this by their parents. -

Quality win for the Breds! It will be interesting to see how their shooting and small quick lineup plays with CCH on Friday! -

NKY Coaches Basketball Poll Week 1
SECRules replied to UK#1fanisback's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
LMAO! How do you see or know a coach voted CCH 3rd? I am not sure how or if this info ia posted somewhere. IMO, i would move Newport down a couple spots after squeaking by Brossart. And i would move Beechwood ahead of Scott but we will find out who is better on Wednesday of this week!! -

Thats crazy, if my math is correct, the Birds had more 3s than they did 2's!!! 11 treys = 33 11 from charity = 11 10 from 2 = 20 Total = 64 -
Dixie Heights @ Walton-Verona Predictions
SECRules replied to TheSteelCat's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Every decent hoops program has some form of ASAP. Personally, I think Walton has a better team but think this will be a close one. Miles' offense is getting better but his defense and shot blocking is what changes games. I'm going with the Bearcats at home! -
I will take a really bad stab on some CCH stats until someone can post official stats. STARTERS Ruthsatz with 20+ and the difference in the game Fredrick: 14 to 18 (??) Thelen: 5 Walter: 4 Davin: 0 (or for 1 shooting) BENCH Fleek: 7 points and I'm guessing he led the team in rebounds Nowak: no shots taken Deere: no shots taken I don't believe anyone else played. IMO - Lenihan is the one who would have made a difference against the press. Considering it was their first game and they have only had one scrimmage, it was a nice away win for the Colonels against a top 20 team in the state. Zane Payne for Lex Cath was a unstoppable and will cause trouble for teams all season!

Yes, CJ is related to both the NKU and Walton Verona coaches. He is a fine young man and ball player and will get even better as the year progresses. -
Beechwood at Boone County predictions 11/28
SECRules replied to Red Tiger 17's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
I think 18 and 8 would be respectable for Beechwood considering almost every team they play has twice or more the enrollment that they do. Also considering that the district they play in has both CCH and Holmes, it is difficult for Beechwood to get those wins. -

Pete, I am confused as to what you are trying to accomplish here. Is there something wrong with the Top 20 rankings and posting? Why 15? Maybe you could look for Sweet 16 predictions... -
Holmes at Highlands Predictions
SECRules replied to Qryche11's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
I wish this post included when the game is being played. Holmes is better than people think and will likely win this one. Their top 5 are better athletes than Highlands but the question is whether or not they play as a team. -

Agreed, this should be a good first game as these two teams appear to be evenly matched. I am going with Beechwood - in a close one - by 5. -
