NewCath's Brennan Hall joined the 1000 Point Club on a reverse lay in in the 2nd half off tonight's game, the senior point guard finished with a game high 24 pts.

The NewCath JV won 59-37, while the Baby Breds fell 50-40.

The NewCath pressure was giving the Juggs all they could handle tonight, especially in the 2nd half when the Breds turned it up a notch. Brennan Hall was slicin' n dicin' his way to the rack like nobody's business and Braden Posey with some quick hands tonight coming up with quite a few thefts and coast to coast buckets at the other end. So. Paul Kremer chipped in a "silent 12pts, including 2/2 from the land of 3.

 

The Juggs with a great night from the charity stripe, going 14/17, while the Breds went 6/9.

 

If I were to guess the Juggs out-rebounded the Breds tonight, but they did have the height advandage, but the Breds did a great job forcing turnovers and getting steals.

 

NewCath will lace'em up on Wednesday in the home opener against the Red Colonels of Dixie. That game is an 8:00pm tip, as the NewCath and Dixie girls varsity will play at 6:00.
