gold sunrise Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 GRC will travel to Madison Central to take on the Indians Tuesday Dec. 5th . I am sure both cheering sections will be fired up. Your thoughts and predictions.
polarbear98 Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 If Coach Feldhaus gets the game film from the Scott game and utilizes their game plan I see Central getting the win. Cozart is a beast down low. And while loaded with great players I don’t know if GRC can stop Cozart in the paint. Not to mention his defensive awareness and shot blocking capabilities Mad. Central 75 Clark 69
LCDAWGS19 Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 GRC will have to hit perimeter shots to win this one. As my good friend PB98 pointed out, Cozart is a real problem inside. I see the home team winning by 4.

If Will gets into foul trouble, which I sure hope he doesn't, Jenkins can hold his own with just about anyone. Then you also have Ben Which is even a bigger body. We may see our bench again being a big role in this game. Our outside shooting is very good, when we are on. When they are not falling for some we have others that can step up. Believe this will be a good game , could get physical, and both cheering sections going at it. This one could go either way, as Madison Central has a very good team.

polarbear98 Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 I think he’s 6’9 6’9”-6’10” with a very athletic frame. Can jump outta the gym. Probably will be the most athletic kid on the floor most nights.

He is 6' 8" with a 7' 3" wing span. As mentioned above, he is very athletic and can run the floor with the guards. Still has some coordination to catch up with him, but he has improved a lot since last year. Best in the state defensively, offense still a work in progress from outside of 10 ft, but will still finish with a double/double most nights plus 8-10 blocks. The rest of the offense is supplied by any one of 4 players, this team has multiple players that can put 15-20 up in a night, and 2 that are capable of 30-35. Defense is were we hang our hat, and that will be an early indicator of how well we will play tomorrow. It should be a great test and I know my son and the boys are looking forward to it.

But I think this team has such a will to win and are so unselfish that they will fight back till the horn sounds. Not sure on the depth of Madison Central but GRC is very deep. Bench pulled us through the Scott game. GRC is a very sound defensive team also. This game has all the signs of a great match up. Look forward to meeting you tomorrow night. I am easy to pick out. Look for white hair in a ponytail.

I too will be easy to spot...........I'll be wearing an Alabama jacket!! Rollllllllllllllllllllllllllll Tribeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Rollllllllllllllllllllllllllll Tideeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
TDC Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Cozart is definitely a difference-maker, but I'm going with a 61-60 GRC win at the buzzer. Early season physical games commonly mean foul trouble, and GRC has more depth. Cozart will get his blocks, but he does try to block everything so offensive rebound opportunities are going to be there for GRC. Should be a great one

SECRules Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Madison Central wins this one! They have way more talent and home court advantage.
