This game is on Wednesday just so everyone knows.

I’m getting tired of hearing him say the sec is the best conference this year as if it’s the first time we’ve heard it before. Only because he says it twice a broadcast so I’ve heard him say it about 6 times in the past few weeks.

So if you want bowl games to matter, and in today's world that seems to only be the playoffs, wouldn't you want the playoff to be expanded? More playoff teams = more games that matter to teams and players.

Ohmer was essentially a spot up shooter at Western, not exactly a "big role." Important yes, but Ipsaro seems to be trending toward a more well rounded role at the next level.

Really, Allen over Hopkins? I'm a big Hopkins fan, feel like he's always in control and doesn't bring anything negative to the floor. I've felt that he should play more, though I wish he had a higher motor. To me, when Allen is in, if he isn't making shots then he's a complete negative. Fouling jump shooters, turnovers, giving up offensive rebounds. Interestingly I checked the season stats, and Allen actually averages more minutes per game than Hopkins. I was surprised by that.

If he wasn't from Ky this thread wouldn't have been started. If Frederick wasn't hurt, Allen would likely only be coming in the game with the walk ons. On the current roster he's the 11th best player. Usually the 11th best player only gets minutes in garbage time.

Scored his 1,000th point a few games ago, averaging 12.3 pts a game and shooting 44.7% from 3, 37.3% overall.

Dayton lost at home to Austin Peay, Umass Lowell, and Lipscomb. I'd say this game matters only for Kansas in terms of when March comes. Unless we are talking a lesser end of the season tournament.

Defensively he will get picked on in the pick and roll. He's very foul prone. Also he's atrocious at Ft shooting. Considering that, his ceiling isn't very high because it's unlikely he'll develop a perimeter game offensively. So essentially he's unplayable late in the game. Guys like that aren't in much high demand in the NBA.
