  1. Hasn't had a day off in awhile. Came in the game and made a couple nice plays defensively. The Reds won. No mention of that though.
  2. It worked, and they won. No mention of that, but I guess that doesn't fit the narrative.
  3. Hindsight would be such a convenient ability to have as a manager.
  4. Other than Cruz since he pitched in both games, I'd say everyone is available tonight.
  5. Probably the same as it does every day/night?? What did you want Bell to do differently yesterday? Abbott was clearly laboring every batter, besides the 2nd inning, and Lyon Richardson is on a pitch limit which he actually exceeded yesterday. If he leaves Abbott in and he gets rocked and they lose the game, there'll be a few posts in here about how stupid Bell is for leaving him in. Same for Richardson. But when he makes the correct decision, there's crickets in here, or there's pointing out a negative thing he "almost" did. I would love to post in here more, but man the negativity is so toxic that it keeps me away.
  6. The bullpen pitched 9.2 innings yesterday and gave up 1 run. Yet all you point out is that "Buddy" almost jumping the gun. How about a little praise for how he actually handled the bullpen and the success they had in doing so?
  7. Barring injury, it seems that his floor is Rudy Gobert with an actual offensive game. If he meets his floor, that's far from an "average" NBA player. KD never "bulked up" but he's considered above average defensively and one of the greats offensively. Bulking up is just not as big of a deal as it was 20+ years ago.
  8. Fairchild has definitely grown on me. Seems to be their 2nd best defensive outfielder, gives a quality at bat the majority of time, and plays hard. May not be an everyday regular player, but he's a very solid 4th outfielder.
  9. I'd be surprised if there are "a lot" of players with a triple double. It's almost a td a game receiving, running, and passing. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a couple, or even none at all, but "a lot" would be very surprising.
  10. They're hyped because of Joe Burrow. If there is no Joe Burrow then they won't be hyped. Meaning if there is no Joe Burrow then they won't be "overrated" because nobody will be expecting anything of them.
  11. If you're using fielding percentage as an argument then I'll just have to read every one of your posts as tongue in cheek.
  12. Gotcha, that's what I thought. So the basis of him being without a doubt a top 5 worst manager in the league is based on something that is simply not true. Mainly just someone else's personal opinion with no facts being presented as to why. Little things like that have always bothered me. Saying someone is bad, or one of the worst, but presenting no legitimate reasonings as to why is just so lazy to me.
  13. Is that a fact that he's the only one to do that? I find that hard to believe, but I can't find any examples anywhere through googling.
  14. So you think their success this year is in spite of him? Also, if it's without a doubt, can you give us a ranking of everyone that is better and why?
  15. So 9, and not 7 like you originally stated?
  16. Kind of get the feeling that the Reds will consider Greene, Lodolo, and Antone as their trade deadline acquisitions.
  17. Was honestly just wondering, I didn't mean any ill intent behind. If I was doing it in my posts I'd want someone to let me know so I can fix it.
  18. Why is it that in all of your posts you have multiple spaces between words? It's like you hold down the space bar for a few seconds after typing some words.
  19. They're on game 80 of 162, how on Earth can tonight be a "must win"?
  20. Honestly, isn't "predicting" anything too early? All predictions are essentially educated guesses. Nobody knows anything until everything actually plays out, and even then nobody really knows anything until it becomes hindsight.
  21. With how terrible the draft is next year, Livingston could've easily slid into the lottery.
  22. I sure hope not as a head basketball coach.
  23. I personally don't think Herro coming back is that great of an idea. The Heat have been rolling without him. Taking minutes away from Strus or Vincent doesn't seem to be the right thing to do. There's no reason to question Spoelstra on anything he decides, but I just don't see Herro being able to just jump right in and positively affecting much.
