FrankNicodemus
Surprised this hasn't been posted yet. Highlands grad, Freshman Sam Vinson went OFF last night in is third game for the Norse. The season started slow for him only scoring 1 pt in the 1st game and 5 pts in the 2nd BUT then "BOOM" last night goes crazy hitting 4 of 5 three point shots to be the leading scorer with 17 points!!! Unfortunately, his minutes were a little low with 23 since he did foul out playing hard. I know this is only 3 games but if this is the type of performance we might see for the next 4 years this is going to be so MUCH FUN for NKY!!! Congrats to Sam! #GO NORSE!

As he gets stronger he will be a really good Horizon League player.
The Raven
Unfortunately for NKU, being in the midst of Cincinnati and X to the north and UK and U of L to the south, they become the forgotten child until late in the season and conference tourney time. It's a shame.

It's a shame. Very true. The Horizon League is good basketball and NKU has had very nice teams even during the D1 transition period. Low ticket prices in a very nice arena. We handled UC during the 5/3rd arena remodel. Had traffic issues, but the fans, coaches, administration, and media seemed very happy during that year. It was very interesting dealing with a MAJOR program and a MID MAJOR program at the same time. Learned a ton!
Chosen1ne
Haven't been keeping up with NKU this year, but how is Faulkner playing?

Scored his 1,000th point a few games ago, averaging 12.3 pts a game and shooting 44.7% from 3, 37.3% overall.
