The guy I know...don't know if he played ball or not. What I do know is that he cares about the kids and is doing what he does for the kids, which is more than I can say for the rec Dept. From what I've heard the rec team is bad. Boyle and Pulaski/Somerset have really good youth leagues and are high priorities in the community. Is Lincoln the same?

I went w/Lafayette in a close one (28-24) because of Walker Wood. Dude is a baller.

Prior to Boyle County's first win last Friday...the combined record of their opponents (three losses) was 8-1 with the only loss Lafayette losing to Trinity. Other two losses was N Hardin and Danville.

It's way to early to try and predict 3A (east), some teams are just now figuring some things out. Should be a fun few weeks.

If that's is happening, that is pitiful.

The Rec Dept has lost several players to an outside individual that has fielded teams. Many of the best kids have opted to playing for him instead of the Rec Dept. From what I've heard, it was a wise decision.

From parents, students, community...I got some friends involved in football over there and they admit it's more of a "basketball friendly" atmosphere. You're a 5A school...how many kids on varsity team? Youth league teams have been decent to pretty dang good over the past few years. Maybe it has something to do with the Rec Dept over there...I hear it's pathetic.

I've wondered why myself?!?! Not sure there is much support for the program.

More and more college coaches are looking for the following in a QB: 1.) winner/leader 2.) decision making/ball security 3.) accuracy Arm strength is the most overrated quality for a D1 college QB. Saw a video from FSU HC Jimbo Fisher and he really made a point to back this up. As has Darrin Hinshaw QB Coach at UK and Shannon Dawson at S Miss. Just adding my 2 cents.
