Collins travels to Boyle County next Friday to take on the Rebels of Boyle County.

 

Collins enters the contest undefeated with a 3-0 record with wins over Montgomery County, Bullitt East and Eastern.

 

Boyle County enters the contest with a 1-3 record with a win over Anderson County and losses to North Hardin, Lafayette and Danville.

 

No common opponents between the teams this year.

 

Last season Boyle County defeated Collins 48-14.

 

The Rebels scored their first victory last Friday with a resounding 41-13 victory over Anderson County. Can they carry this momentum over to this upcoming Friday against Collins. A rejuvenated spirit and attitude seems to have taken over the Rebels. I like the Rebels at home in this one.

Collins is certainly better than they were the past two years. They have played well in their first 3 games, especially in the passing game. However, Boyle County is a much better team than anyone they have played so far. I think it will be very tough for the Titans to win this one on the road, but I would like to see them keep it close and have a good game heading into district play. Improvements in the run game and on defense are a must for the Titans.

Truth. But same type of offensive and defensive plays.

Boyle made some personnel adjustments heading into Anderson County that appear to be just the tweak the Rebels needed.

 

I expect the same lineup this week vs Collins and also expect Boyle to have a great week of preparation.

 

Collins looks like they can put points on the board and this should be a pretty high scoring, entertaining game.

 

I like Boyle, but will not post a prediction till Friday.

I hope Boyle gets the win to add to their confidence and momentum from last week.

I am seeing a shootout here. By all accounts Boyle has had a good week of prep and Collins is coming off a bye week, so both teams should play well.

Last year Boyle scored 28 points before Collins even touched the ball. All the recovered onside kicks took Collins out of the game before they even had an offensive snap. I look for this game to be a very good one from two championship level programs. Collins gets the win 38-34

Gotta go with Boyle at home 31-20. I look for Boyle to continue to improve from last weeks big jump.
