Pay more attention to the rest of that post. Middle School titles aren't exactly at a high level of importance in the grand scheme of things and we are already in a conference whose tourney is at the same time. It's stupid to play multiple games in a week for a "championship" that is....well, irrelevant.

Not this year...he did last year and is pretty automatic with the exchange. Can't remember a bad/mishandled snap all of last year. He is a very consistent player and although he is a dominant DL his value at center at the next level will be off the charts. He's smart, tough and has great technique.

Kelly from Boyle is probably headed for that position. He played there last year for Boyle and was moved to T by necessity. I think he'll be at center for BCHS. Center is the MOST important position on offense and any good QB/Coach will tell you the same.

We are not leaving the Salt River Conference and from what I'm being told "no state tourney" because this conversation has been going on for years....and playing two schedules/tourneys at once isn't going to happen.

Never will...Coach Smith wants the kids to play other sports, we are already a member of a conference and middle school titles are not the goal. If you get a chance to see BCMS play football you will agree with my assertion that the players I mentioned are worthy of consideration. Zachary Laphart (spelling??) is a really good player for Anderson Co at RB/LB.

If you are putting together an "all-state" squad, I'm not qualified to pick that being I won't see the vast majority of other teams play. All I'm saying is that these kids can all REALLY PLAY. They play within the system and are a pleasure to watch...if you get to see them I think you'll agree. We lost in the semis of the state 7/7 at UK to eventual champ N Pulaski. We were the second best team there and played them very tough.

Boyle Co Middle School is LOADED. Catch them this Sat 8/22 @ LexCath (11:00). There are at least 7-8 kids that are VERY skilled and could be listed.

Smith scored 4 TDs vs Anderson. But no stats are kept. They can basically score anytime they want with the pass or run. There are weapons all over the field. And let's be real...the first team defense has yet to give up a first down in the first half. The total score so far vs LCA, North Hardin and Anderson is 140-30 and could have been FAR WORSE if they wanted. They are superbly coached, they work hard and they are damn talented.

From what I understand...it's only a sport you have played. He might be eligible for basketball because of his shoulder injury last year he did not play basketball for Mercer. I also have heard that is a conference rule. The KHSAA isn't enforcing the "hold back" rule this year. I've been told Landon will play football next year at BCHS. My guess is WR.

All I know is that he got hurt last year and I believe had shoulder surgery.

Top 20 nationally ranked track athlete that transferred this season to BCMS from Mercer Co. He is an 8th grader. He's 6'2" already and can dunk a 10' goal easily. He will probably be a WR at BCHS and will run past people like they are standing still. He has to sit out this football season but can play basketball this winter. The rich get richer.

This years 9th grade class is very good (thin) but keep in mind at least 7 of this years 8th grade class started on last years undefeated BCMS team. The bottom line is that from 10th thru 6th grade BC is LOADED with outstanding talent.

Heard BGMS lost recently. Wish Boyle Middle could play some of these schools to see where we are statewide...our first string defense hasn't given up a 1st down and the offense is averaging 47 pts (basically in the 1st half).
