South's defense is too strong for North. I know North has speed but South has speed also with discipline. South has some key players injured but some will be back. South by 2 td's.

Have seen both play, not even close, South Warren by three to four touchdowns. Best Team I have seen this year so far. Excellent defensive size, discipline and speed. Well coached team that makes very few mistakes. If North starts slow in this one, could be running clock. Not drinking the kool-aid on North Hardin.

South BIG.

NH - 6

SW - 42

I'm gonna say a close north win. I think their defense will win this game for them.

NH 24

SW-21

I haven't seen either team and have no idea who would win or why. However, every week I read post after post about why North Hardin won't win in a given week. Then, after the game, I read excuses and reasons why the OTHER team lost instead of why North Hardin won. If I'm not mistaken, they are now 4-0 against a tough schedule.

Yes, North is 4-0 but let's not act like they are world beaters. The 4 opponents they have beaten are a combined. 5-11. North is a 6A school and those opponents have been 3, 3A schools and 1 4A school. Props to them and their coaches for getting the program moving in the right direction. I've seen them play and honestly wasn't impressed. Once they begin to play some higher level competition in 5A/6A I don't believe they will fair very well. Depending on the south injuries I can see them winning this game by 2-3 TDs

South Warren wins this at Sparta.

Someone sounds like they possess a little bitterness that NH was able to hold their team to 1 offensive td. Not sure how you weren't impressed by that, bud. But oh well...such is life.

Also didn't know JH was reduced to just "some ole 4a school." Records don't tell all. Just like NH 4-0 could very well be 0-4, I'm not ignorant to that. They've played hard every game, all game..

Still waiting to find out if NHardin is a senior laden team and what type defense they play? Anyone?

Per their roster, and the names that get the stats online that I read, it appears their offensive skill guys are seniors. But it's the offense that hasn't caught up with the d, thus far. The backup qb, as someone stated on another post, is a sophomore. The defense doesn't get their names out, so that is hard to say. Most of the guys I've read about in the paper via the internet have been seniors, and that is where their strength has been, looking objectively. I'm told they have some solid young talent, though that have gotten clock. Still curious how this season will finish for them.

Like most high schools, I'm sure they play multiple d's depending on the offense they play.

NEO, I appreciate this. I have to admit that North hasn't been high on my radar probably ever, but to go 4 and 0 is 4 and 0 no matter what. I don't expect them to beat the big Louisville schools, but I think competing well with their nearby schools is important. That's how you start building a long term program. Sounds like the Bankhead kid is a special player.

Not bitter at all. Etown should have easily been up 21-0 in the first half but made mistakes that didn't allow that to happen. Fumbled on the 5 yd line, dropped pass on a 4th down conversion on the 10. Turnovers in the 2nd half and mental mistakes were killers. Most of Etown's players go both ways, maybe 2 guys switch over when offense/defense does. Even with that they held NH scoreless in the 1st half. I was under impressed with North's offense with Bankhead in. They looked 1 dimensional. When the sophomore qb came in their offense got better because they began to run the ball more. My comments on North were based off the eye test. They are a good team, not great by any means and they will lose when they begin to face stiffer competition.

John Hardin is not where they should be. If you talk to anyone around that program they will tell you the same thing.
