We would have to agree to disagree. Disciplined maybe, better no. Deaton and Hicks were monsters and far more athletic than what's out there now, and QM was a 3 year starter that commanded attention. I still am of the opinion that SK was a much better football team last year vs this years team, but last year doesn't matter.

Ryle has a back averaging almost 8 per carry, but still insist on using other ones. Through last weeks stats England had 56 carries. That's about 1/3 of what Powell has, and there is simply no excuse for that. SKs weakness in in the run D, there's no Hicks/Marksberry/Deaton on the front 7. I would give it to #7 30 times. If they lose they lose, but that's their shot. SK is the better team, think this one lands around 27-14.

Should be a great one, hate to miss it. Headed north to watch the alma mater BG Falcons light up another scoreboard!! Nothing like a Saturday afternoon rivalry game in Park Hills. Not a better site around that watching those Cov Cath boys walk down the hill from NDA. Love it.

Solid point. Fieger and Combs are fairly easy to catch. Both are usually around the zone. Stringer could pose some issues. Throws hardest on staff but you're never sure where it's going. News to me that RB was gonna catch. Surprises me. There are some nuances to catching that are hard to learn in a year, like framing pitches. The other issue would be how he handles that with his pitching duties. I was expecting him to be the 3 or 4 starter, if he's catching a bunch that may not work well. BW has a couple pretty good younger catchers in Burch and Trusty, where do they stand in this equation? Maybe with the younger kids ready he's not gonna pitch?

I watched BW vs Lloyd, and I watched NCC vs HC. Lloyd is better. If they take care of the ball they win this game. They were playing with BW until 2 pick 6s in last couple minutes of first half.

Fair enough. I did not see the game, this is the time of year when I go watch other teams, was at NCC HC. Sounds like BW did what they were supposed to do. Hopefully their starters get to play into the second half Friday, o assume Ludlow is the best of the three district teams they will play.

Ryle needs to figure out who they are on O. They were successful last year and many picked them to be the team to beat in NKy because of the identity they established last year, which was being very physical and handing the ball to Colin England, who if not the best is one of the top 5 RBs up here. Per Nkysports.com he's averaging 8 YPC, but simply not getting enough touches. Feed the beast!! Looks like the O coord is attempting to showcase his QB. I get that he is a really good QB, but not sure they have the receiving Corp to match him. Give the dang ball to 7 and the rest will take care of itself.
