Agree June, NEVER count out a Jeff Trame coached team. They were supposed to be down last year and somehow made it deep into state. I think Jake Ohmer will be top echelon SS if not the best in the area, and Andrew Trame just gets hits and is so steady it's scary. BW will be better than last year. Something was just wrong with that team, from coaching to senior leadership. With a mostly senior team they could be last years Highlands. What does Ryle have coming? All those P you mention are great and could beat anyone in Rd 1, see Purnell one hitting BW last year.

Does BW and Paris not play in Rd 2 like they have the last several years? Who will BW play assuming Rd 1 is a W? It's been Paris, Frankfort, Mayfield in that order for a few years. Has that changed?

Will be curious to see if the guy making the claims about HC superiority in the skill positions comes back in. From what I saw only position that was even close was WR because 2 is a monster for HC, but so is our #14 . There was simply no comparison at RB or QB, huge advantage for BW. Add that to the complete line doninance and you get the score. BW had a bad RB QB exchange for a TO and a fumble by Stringer deep in HC territory or they may have scored 70. Shame on Koz fir not getting it to Big 21 more. He was the best player on the field and they did little to get it to him. Line that kid up at TB and give him the ball 25 times. Never thought I'd see it but he ran Slusher down from behind on a breakaway. That's fast.

IMO SK is simply the cream around here like Dixie was last year, but you never know. Someone needs to challenge them before playoffs, think that's necessary to draw on when it gets tough in playoffs

Thanks for posting, did you mean 273 yards for Fieger? I know right at the end of the half he had a huge completion for about 60 yards to Cam Way, so add just that to his yards to Slusher and he's well above 200.

Kind of exactly how I expected it. Balanced offense, run game too much which opened the pass and Fieger was excellent. Holy Cross has some real athletes, 21 and 2 could play on any team in the area. Really thought their QB played with guts, I like him. No punts for BW, did what they wanted when they wanted on O. Line came back strong, and those three kids at RB QB and WR really took this one over.

Beg to differ. And you can't just play the run or Fieger will kill you. In the stats from last week a BW RB was already to 500 yds. They are very well balanced. Teams not named Cov Cath have sold out to one and got killed by the other.

Holy Cross has some good athletes at the skill positions. I think they will score, but who knows. HC gave up a ton of yards on the ground to a Scott. Team missing some starters on the line. Look for a big night for BW running game

This is still going? Wow. As zero stated its first a surprise they showed up. Couple years ago BW decided to rekindle the HC parade, which takes my back to my youth watching the players and band walk past my house. Loved it. Was a Thursday night. What's the best part of a parade? The band, right? Except wait a second, they were givin the night off to rest, had a competition Saturday. Wait, what? Yep, true story. Who was there? Every single player, who happened to have a game the next night. Last year was a little better, a few showed. Hard to believe, especially since that's the one time people pay attention. As for the people complaining, Puleez. Fans can scream at a kid at the free throw line in hoops. Kids in the dugout scream and bang on buckets inthe pitchers windup, which BTW Cov Cath and their classless head coach are unparalleled when it comes to this act in the entire NKy area. And they complain about a band during a football game? Just stop.

Gonna show generational gap here. None of them should be PF, assume all the Johnny Unitas don't put your name on the back of the jersey folks will disagree. It's emotion, simply nothing wrong with any of it. Oh no, Jr just raised his hands to the air, he is desecrating this game. Give me a break. Give me 11 kids with passion every time, I will win with that.

Time for Tigers to move on. I said at beginning of year if they could survive the first 4 weeks healthy and get 1 or 2 wins they would be in fine shape. Now they should be able to handle the rest of the schedule until NCC somewhat easily. All in all I give them an A through first 4. Heck I watched Moeller get abused in every phase Friday night, it happens. I am certainly no coach, but I watched this game on HUDL and IMO it's time to let Fieger and Stringer play D, especially Stringer. They put him in the game vs Lloyd and he neutralized 5 who was killing them in first half. Looked like CC schemed against Slusher and took him out of the game on Defense. He needs some help in the form of some speed, and those two kids provide that. I get what they are doing, tough to tote it 30 times a night and play both ways, but IMO it's needed.

Sounds like the line for BW was dominated which is what I feared. All the skill players in the world do you no good if the guys up front can't compete. Guess a couple of the BW posters were humbled too, they thought one player would win this by himself. Doesn't work that way. Congrats to Cov Cath. Now the schedule calms down for both, they should each go on a nice run now. Hooefully every one stayed healthy? Happens to the best, I just got back from Big Moe taking a pasting. Heads up Tigers. BW band is out of control, and has been for years. For some reason they think it's about them, winning 1a state championships against schools with 6 kids in the band has gone to thier head. The director runs rough shod over the spineless AD, they interupt frosh and middle school practice all the time. Glad another fan base got to see it first hand. Dont blame the Tigers football program for it, band is simply allowed to do what they want when they want by the administration.

Wish I was gonna make this one, Moe vs Don Boscoe gets my dollars tonight. If BW is able to run the ball, they win. That will open up the passing game. Sounds like Lex Cath ran at will, I am sure BW will have a good balanced game plan. IMO they will, and by a couple scores. If not, will be a long night for the Tigers. Are you talking about baseball? SK loaded? With who? They only win games that Lawrence pitched last year. He was their best hitter. Cupboard bare. Highlands lost their entire starting 8. Still have best pitcher in the 9th, but last year was their shot. Beechwood will be the team to beat in the 9th. Boone Ryle ad Highlands all have pitchers that could beat them in one game, but they will be the best team top to bottom.
