Ludlow is not a good 1A team but they are not a bad 1A team, they are just average. But Beechwood shows what will happen to average 1A teams in the playoffs.

The Beechwood offense is truly impressive. It is going to take an extremely good defensive team to keep them from putting up points. Ludlow played hard. Their backs are hard runners who like to hit and are tough to bring down. The Tigers looked very good tonight against a solid Ludlow team. Here is how the scoring went in this one.

With Raceland losing to Fairview tonight, it may be down to the other three.

Keep it rolling Tigers. Ethan Stringer looked really good running the ball tonight. Justin Overstreet is one big tough dude. When he stole that ball from the running back and took off with it, he was moving. No one was going to catch him. The defense looked good. Ludlow's QB was a strong little runner. It took more than one to bring him down. Same with the RB Martin. Those two guys are strong runners. Ludlow is not that bad. Beechwood made them look a lot worse than they are.

I don't consider a pistol offense that takes 25-30 seconds between plays a hurry up offense. Just because you don't huddle, that doesn't make it a hurry up offense.

A football game that ends in a 56 point victory can't be labeled as a close game!! It has been mentioned already that Ludlow isn't a bad team at all, BW is just hitting on all cylinders right now and Ludlow just isn't on the same level.

On a side note are the Ludlow players still protesting with their Gold cleats?

Any word on Blackburn the Ludlow QB? He had a lower leg injury and was screaming in pain so loud it could be heard through the stands. Very upsetting to see and hear. He is such a load to bring down that he often takes many shots from multiple tacklers. I hope he is ok.
