Easy....take it with class. Ludlow has nice team just a different level of program.

Beechwood playing hard. Still some defensive lapses...mostly with slopy tackeling. They truely swarm to the ball which is needed. Overstreets strip and score a good example...first few stand them up and rhe next guy strips rhe ball. D line played well. Linebacker play seems to be improving. When they blitz good things generally happen. Offense did its thing and did it well. On to the next game....this was senior night. Good to see this group of kids still together from the undefeated freshman team. Only minus a couple. Great bunch of kids

Ludlow is average, undisciplined, and likes to play the role as a victim. Try as they may, they will never be able to complete with the likes of Beechwood. I wish them well, but, unless Ludlow merges with Kenton County/Dixie High School, a run into the first or second round is as far as they will ever go...

Any word on Blackburn the Ludlow QB? He had a lower leg injury and was screaming in pain so loud it could be heard through the stands. Very upsetting to see and hear. He is such a load to bring down that he often takes many shots from multiple tacklers. I hope he is ok.

 

I was told Blackburn's ankle was just a sprain and that he hopes to play this Friday.

Thanks Eye. I am surprised based on how he went down. Good for him. Hate to see any youngster with a significant injury.

On a side note are the Ludlow players still protesting with their Gold cleats?
