The Beechwood Tigers had very little trouble in their district opener last week versus Bellevue. Ludlow won just as easily in their district opener versus Dayton. Ludlow has posted a solid 5-3 record but they are facing an opponent on a different level than anyone else they have played year to date. Can Ludlow mount a challenge against the Tigers? Paris shut out Ludlow. I think that is a good goal for Beechwood in this one. The Beechwood offense is looking great. The defense needs to get up to that same level. Shutting out Bellevue was nice, but they had been shut out their previous 2 or 3 games. Shutting out Ludlow will be another good step forward for the defense.

Beechwood should be the favorite in every game they play from here on out, including the state championship

Question for Beechwood fans: What's your biggest concern going forward? Seems like your steam-rolling any and all comers. Any 1 A teams give you cause for concern looking forward? I don't think it's Ludlow.....

Not until Rd 3 of playoffs, who ever that may be. Then assuming it's Russelville in semis that will be very tough, and I think there are 3 or 4 teams out of the east that could beat the Tigers. But at least Maysville is someone else's problem now......

The number one concern is staying healthy. This team is not as deep as Beechwood usually is. They need their line to stay healthy and they need Fieger to stay healthy.

Health is the #1 concern. Lots of "dings and dents" so far. Getting healthy and staying healthy is a must. Back up players getting valuable minutes. Hopefully that can continue...Come playoff time, "all hands" will be needed.
