Why not JUCO? More $$, more playing time, and get more freedom with your future. If I'm blessed to have a kid in that position I will strongly encourage him to look that way. I think you would be surprised by the # of kids currently playing D1 and pro ball that started this way. It's a great option if you go to a strong team and conference.

Can't get it out of my mind that Paris only beat Holmes 13-7 and Ludlow 28-0. BW didn't play their starters in second half vs Ludlow and would have done same to Holmes. Tells me schedule was a little soft. I will take Fairview by a couple TDs

I will agree that Pikeville will win the east. I will disagree vehemently that the one dimensional offense that Russelville runs out there can beat BW. That's what always killed them against Mayfield, and thats what will beat them against BW. Unless there is another big physical team in the west out there like CCH I don't see anything in there way to BG. Cov Cath is a really good team, and have gotten better as the season has gone on. That early schedule would have resulted in a ton of 0-4 teams

Yep. Should be best teams in state. Ludlow was 2 seed up here, no business being in playoffs. Only solution though is to go back to 4 classes. Way too many teams, season way too long.

I read that article yesterday, good for Kyle. Coach pointed out what he has done all while playing in on offense that runs it more than it throws it. Also amazes me when you consider they lose probably 2/3 games per year on the in district and first round of playoffs when he doesn't ever play in the second half. Bravo Kyle.

One thing to make unfounded and irrational digs on an NFL player, but your are out of line here with a HS kid. I know it's not in your DNA, but try to show a little class.

And averaged over 13 YPC. Kid is averaging 7.5 per carry for the year. He's a workhorse that gets better with carries. Coach got a shiny new toy at QB and has not used Big 7 to his best.

Agree on needing it. That was a physical team. I think Cov Cath and Ironton were a little better, but was a good reminder that there are good physical teams out there. Lawrence might be the single best individual lineman I've seen in a couple years.
