Beechwood enters district play against the team that has been their toughest district opponent over the past few years. Bellevue is struggling under their new coach and does not appear to be the typical challenger Beechwood is used to seeing. Bellevue has not scored a point in their last three games. What can Bellevue do to cause problems for Beechwood? Is this going to be a running clock game?

I have thought about your comment. My thought, a poll asking who wins or loses in a game like this is worthless. I am trying to add some interest in the poll. It is sometimes interesting to see what people think about how the game will go, versus who wins or loses. We want polls on all the prediction threads. I would love to hear suggestions on an interesting poll for a game like this one looks to be.

This being a district game I would like to say that Bellevue somehow puts up a good fight but it seems in the last few weeks they are just throwing in the towel.

Lets hope that this is not the case and the game is at least thought worthy. Its sad, Bellevue started strong but after their first loss it seems they have been drowning deeper each week.

Bellevue has had some key players out for several weeks. Now that is not going to put much more of a challenge against Beechwood but can help them the rest of the season in district games if they can stay injury free vs Beechwood.

Hate to say it, but I used to look forward to the annual battle that was Beechwood and Bellevue. That being said, this one will be over somewhere in the latter part of the first quarter.

I appreciate the feedback and welcome it. I start prediction threads every week on the games involving all the 1A ranked teams. I do polls like this every week on predictably lopsided games. A "who wins" poll is worthless on a game like this. The poll attached can generate discussion on what might happen in the game and is certainly more interesting than who wins. However, I am open to feedback. I don't want to disrespect a team, but I don't think there is any doubt who is going to win this game so I created a poll that will get different opinions on the game.

I personally like the prediction threads, even on games that on the surface will not be close. Keep up the good work, cant make everyone happy.

After that game against Newport. This shouldn't even be a game. I would not anticipate any entertainment after the 1st quarter if I were a Bellevue fan OR Beechwood fan.
