True story-- it's a cool look that the NFL/NCAA allows, but High School does not. So some kids attach a mouthpiece to hang, but also wear a mouthpiece that's not attached. Seen it more than once. People go to far too great of lengths to look cool. It seems laborious to me.

From what I have seen, I would be shocked if any NKY 6A school is still around come the third week of the playoffs.

Three observations: 1. This is so out of control. Water is over the dam. 2. The dealership that agreed to this has either lost their mind or has to much money, or both. 3. Wait until one of these cars is involved in a crime and they can't identify the license plate. That'll be fun for everyone involved.

Outside of high expectations, that is typically what the good NKY 6A teams are.

People on this thread are feeling more sorry for Holmes than Holmes. They showed up, played hard, and just got outmanned. Covcath won with class and dignity. No trash talk, no showboating. It was all clean football.

90% of the drive is 75/275/AA. May see 5 stoplights total. If I’m Walton I leave as soon as school is over, get passed the traffic, and go eat somewhere in Campbell County. Not saying it’s an easy trip, but there are far worse. The worst part is getting into Brooksville from the AA HWY.

People like this absolutely ruin the experience of going to a football game. I've seen it so many times. Routinely in the upper deck and it is usually some fool who is more concerned with starting a fight than watching the game. They act a fool the whole time, cuss non-stop, and when someone tells or asks them to stop they want to fight. The line usually used is "I paid my money so I can say what I want." Watched it happen last year and the reply the guy got was "and so did I, quit being a (bleeping) idiot." I truly enjoy seeing people like this get arrested at games.

The one amendment I would make to this proposal is that if a player does transfer he is ineligible for the postseason the year of the transfer. You can play every regular season game in every sport, but for the first year you are out when it matters. May not cut down on the amount of transfers, but it at least tries to prevent the Wild Wild West from happening. Also makes a coach think twice when a player enrolls at their school.

Newport may be the surprise team in NKY this year. They have athletes and size everywhere. They have a lot of pieces and the coaching staff has them playing well.

I have never thought home field advantage mattered when two NKY schools are playing each other. There really isn't much travel and it really doesn't interrupt routine a whole lot. Once you start talking around a hour on a bus, then I think it comes into play more. That really doesn't effect two NKY teams playing each other.

The employee shortage is real in education. There is a million reasons why anyone could say it has happened. The bottom line is eventually local districts and the state are going to have to throw money at this problem, and that money will have to go to employees. Unfortunately school district jobs will have to pay more or no one is going to want them.

Agreed. Scott is down, but looked OK. Western Hills (Ohio) looked better than Scott. Neither was Cooper, but Cooper will be just fine.
