Im just pulling for the upset honestly and Bellevue had its best success against Brossart when running the ball which IMO is their best style of football instead of dropping back and throwing it. I agree that Shearer needs sometime to develop players to fit what his style of play he should be fine and he should be in alot better shape next year with the new district re-alignment! I was also on the rotation of pictures for that game and im just tired of the games not being close and would like to see the devils come back and steal a game!

Did anyone else at the game notice Bellevues Head coach throw his clip board at the side judge in the second quarter because they did not hear him yelling for the timeout? I thought he should have been tossed from the game!

That was the score of the playoff game and the first battle for the paddle was 35-8 in favor of Dayton, I believe but no that was not on purpose. Also i half to agree with you this game has no flare to it and the only one that had was in 07 at Davis field jam packed. After that year everyone knew Dayton was going to be down and they have gotten worse sense. I think the people of Bellevue is starting to question the hiring of Shearer. On a side note they are the only staff i have seen in quit some time that dont wear head sets.

Should be a very interesting game Holmes is rolling on both sides of the ball. Dixie keeps getting better every week, These two teams are very fimiliar they both run the spread O and the 3-5 defense. The one thing I think that will hurt Dixie is whats been hurting them all year they are not a very good conditioned team going against the speed of the bulldogs that keep coming at you. Holmes has several weapons if Dixie keys on Peterson they will get burned by everyone else. Should be a great game and a true measuring stick for Holmes.

Should be a better game then it has been the past two years, Bellevue has yet to find an identity and Dayton has been banged up and a couple players should return for this game. Im pulling for Dayton in this one and ill say 20-13 Dayton!

One thing that helps Holmes is they have Dixie and Withrow left two pretty good teams!

What does the partying half to do with anything? The ALL STARS from Highlands work their butts off to be good they might have a couple all stars but not all of them. Its the same at SK, Ryle, Holmes, and any other school its the attitude that the players have to work to get better and the coaches persistance and the support from the community!

Lickert is a great coach and can get the best out of his kids, talent or no talent he gets them to buy into what hes saying and develops the young men not only to be succesful in football but in life also. He is one the best coaches and will keep doing great things!

Bellevue needs to find its true identity and do what they do best. Have a down hill running attack and force Bishop Brossart to stop it. Im going with Bellevue, BB hasnt played any teams worth mentioning.

This next month will be very telling for Holmes. After Franklin County this week they travel to Dixie Heights, Scott at home, Withrow (OH) whom almost beat Highlands, then travel to Harrison County to wrap up the regular season.

Yes! Coach Lickert has won two coach of the year awards one at Dayton and one at Holmes. Coach Lickert is well respected and if you dont think he is you are sadly mistaken.

Conner is not very good, this was a game SK was supposed to win and they did.

From rumors i have been hearing if the state allows some teams in 4a to move up then next year 4a will be just as bad as 5a the past couple of seasons.

Im willing to bet that a couple 4a teams will petition to move to 5a next season!
