Newcath will wear down the Cats upfront and keep control of the game. Newport will make some plays but for them to keep it close and pull out a shocker they must take advantage of turnovers.

That is true. However Newport just played one of the better rushing teams in the state in Estill County this past week, and did a great job against the run. So the rush defense is getting better. The key for Newport is obviously slowing NCC down, and creating turnovers and not having turnovers of their own. If they can do this, then you never know what could happen, especially in a rivalary game like this.

I would just like to see Newcath play mistake free for 3 qtrs. then let the JV get some action in the 4th.

Even though NCC defense is really good. I am surprised most people think that NCC will shut out Newport or only allow them one touchdown. This is a rivalry game, and Newport has a really good offense.

Last 3 years Newport has scored 16, 12, and 0 points and none of those games were really close.
