I'm not sure luck has as much to do with it, as his ability to evaluate talent. The question I have is can he continue to evaluate the talent at the rate in which he has done it thus far. That is the only time will tell scenario. Or will he miss on someone, so far, he hasn't but we are only 2 years in.

As good as he is, I'll be glad when he's gone, I just feel he is a cancer on this team.

Great write up, and I think you are spot on, the reason Campbellsville beat Adair the first time was Adair had a starter out, so I don't put much stock in that. I think the 2 teams as we head to February that people need to look out for is Caverna and North, they maybe 1/2 in the region.

After having watched Grayson and Daviess County play, the gap between those two and the rest of the region is a great gulf. What will be sad is if those two have to play a Semi-Final in the region. If you want to have a packed house at the SportsCenter for a regional final, please Basketball god, put those two on opposite sides of the bracket!

Yes he did, but again KHSAA was not issuing any penalty. So why did DCPS feel the need to issue such a unfair suspension of the rest of the season? I have a thought, but nothing to base if off of.

I think in order to do what IU has done, with a lot of money and no 5-star players, you have to have a Cignetti who knows how to evaluate talent! Don't get me wrong he's a good coach and you can google him, because all he does is win, but I don't know if there is anyone in the game today, that evaluates talent any better than he does!

There is such a gap between the top 2 and everyone else, that the team that is 3rd is so far behind that may think they are 1st.

This game was never in doubt. OC has not played as tough a schedule as Grayson has, and it showed tonight.

Just a random thought at 12:30 in the morning. If (and that's a huge if), the KHSAA was so sold on the RPI, why not take the 16 region winners (those going to the sweet 16) and seed the tournament, instead of having a blind draw. Then we would see just how flawed, nor not, the RPI really is! I know if will never happen, but if Lexington is so sold on it, seed the Sweet 16.

I think seeing Irvin on the sidelines doing his antics reminds me of the Old Miami, that I hated, and the hatred continues for me.
