Sounds like a logical way to do it. As long as they arrange the championship game at night, finishing under the lights, it's much more appealing than an afternoon game imo.

Seems like the 9th always has 4 opening round games on Memorial Day. The 30th this year. Last year the Championship game was on a Sat afternoon...I think you're right about the semi's being the night before.

Well if this prep school thing works out down the road for CCH (which is highly unlikely imo), it should bolster the St Henry and Holy Cross programs with the influx of nky athletes that decide there are better opportunities elsewhere.

They lost 90% of their offense with the graduation of Lawrence.

Time will tell. The key imo will be how the secondary performs on defense. If they play well, Dixie will have a very good year.

Good point SF99. If he's near 100% come tourney time, he definitely adds a nice 1-2 punch. With no dominating pitcher or staff in the ninth this year, every game will be an adventure in the regional.

This topic seems to come up quite often. If districts only represented boys athletics and specifically baseball only, then I guess we could debate it...unfortunately there are a number other parts to the equation.

I've never heard of a coach pulling it's starters just because they had 2 games. Were they tired or something? I know they will change a position or two, but to sit almost the entire starting lineup seems odd.
