People used to park in the subdivision behind the gym/girls softball field and enter at the east gate on the visitors side. I don't know if that's still a viable option or not.

Yes, parking will be an issue as it would be at any of the 4 schools playing. I imagine Kmart will be very busy friday night.

Dixie has one of the nicest sports complexes in NKY.

As mentioned above, it's part of the Skyline Shootout. They set the price....$10 for 2 games. Seems pretty fair....much more entertaining than going to a movie.

I recall SK and CovCath both getting pummeled last year in their first game....it happens. Dixie played awful week 1 no question. Let's see if week 2 is any different.

I'm not sure about a state rule, but I'm guessing he won't be playing in games the first few weeks.

Considering Peterson didn't attend school a good part of last year, I'm not sure what they do with that. Looking forward I hope he gets his act together.

Correct. It will give you an indication of how things are shaping up for next week. If your starters perform well then you're encouraged...if not, you get concerned. Hopefully the personnel issues are already resolved.

A week before your first game is not the time for experiments. What you see in this one will be very similar to next week's regular season game with your starters attempting to get in sync. You may tweak a few things before next week, but that's about it. If this was being played 3 weeks ago, you would have time to toy around. If I'm not mistaken this will be approached like a regular season game with the scoreboard, clock etc operating as usual.

Sounds like Dixie will only have one transfer (Fox)...that puts them in a tie with CovCath for transfers.

If you look on the KHSAA site, Dixie has a fairly brutal December schedule. LexCath Scott County King of the Bluegrass Tourney (Louisville) Stop DWI Tourney (Binghamton, NY) Toss in NewCath who might be the number 2 team in the ninth region. They'll certainly have their work cut out for them.

I think around 6' 3" 210-220 and still growing. If he picks up an 1" or 2, over the next couple of years, he'll be a force down low.

He moved to Ohio. I mentioned the frosh Niehaus in another thread...don't be surprised to see him spell Pike in the post and get some Varsity experience under his belt.
