Interesting that the coaches see Simon Kenton as 3rd in their district contrary to the BGP 6a rankings.

That is the problem with a pure vote, you can vote any way you like and don't have to defend/back up your position...

Wow! Look at the difference! BGP does't have Ryle in the top ten but the enquire has them 2nd...I know the enquire is just NKY teams but still!!

Agreed. It's nothing more than BGP discussion fodder. I doubt the coaches put much thought into it as they've got more pressing issues.

I do think Ryle is a wildcard. We will all have to see how all the replacement parts and new QB do but it is hard to imagine anyone stepping into Ryle's offense on short notice and being superior to Hempel. Add that to all the new starters and I think it will be very difficult for Ryle to be close to what they were in 2010.

Hempel and the other running back whose name escapes me plus the stud LB. Lots of questions but when you have 80 kids you might find some strong replacements. It might take a while for Ryle to get to their best ball.

Coach Warner has done a nice job at Ryle and I am sure they will be solid. I'm just not sold they will be #2 in NKY solid.

IMO #2 is still wide open with lots of candidates including Ryle. Every team besides HHS has lots of questions. Ryle generally plays tough defense and I think that gives them an advantage over a 10 game season.

Anyone that thinks Ryle is going to "open it up" after losing a D1 qb and a strong running back and with returning a kid who has a chance to break Shaun Alexander's record doesn't know their history and can't read into a coach's quote.
