Holy Cross 10 Cooper 4
Sure you can. Suggest whatever you like and the rest of us will post what we like, within the rules. You do a lot of box scores and we recognize that but that doesn't mean a person can't post information just because we don't follow your format.

Highlands 2 Elder (OH) 1
Just curious, but does each game count for the total you are allowed in a season or does a tournament count as one game?

Holy Cross 10 Cooper 4
^The two runs in the first were earned for HC on 3 hits I believe. The last two runs for Cooper were unearned when the right fielder dropped the fly ball for what would have been the third out.

Holy Cross 10 Cooper 4
On a side note, I think Cooper has used 8 or 9 different pitchers over the four games played and Collins and Setser still haven't thrown. It's good to see early what you have to count on down the road. On some game threads I have seen the same pitchers names often. Cooper has looked okay on a couple of games and have looked very poor in a couple but I still believe when they put their best 9 out there that they will be able to compete with anyone in NKY. It's good to get all the kids some inning's in the field and on the mound so you know what you have for later in the season. Several kids seeing their first varsity action this week.

Holy Cross 10 Cooper 4
If you gave 7 earned runs against Dunn, then I must have watched a different game. When the first baseman drops a ball thrown to him and then the 2nd baseman moves to the side of a grounder and it goes off his glove which would have been the 2nd and 3rd outs of the inning, then HC scores the 6 runs in that inning after that. Those are all unearned. Either way, HC deserved to win the game today. Cooper actually hit the ball off Tiberi better than I thought they would. A couple of shots right at people but that happens. Congrats to HC on the win but no way were all those runs earned.

Beechwood 4 Conner 2
I don't get too excited when people promote Freshmen but I will say I was very impressed with the size and look of the kid when they played Cooper last night. I don't think he hit any "rockets" or anything but the pure size and athletic looking ability is impressive. Good luck to the young man.

KHSBCA Preseason Rankings
^ If this is for real then I'm waiting for TOG to get blood pressure pills in him before responding  ... and I wouldn't blame him. What a joke.

Cooper 3 St. Henry 1
Cooper used 4 pitchers with Dunn starting and faced the minimum 6 batters in two innings. Doerman threw 2 inn, Collin Smith 2 inn and Lawhorn threw 1 inning. The Cooper pitchers threw strikes and the big difference from last year is their defense had zero errors. Cooper was the home team and did leave about 10 runners on over their 6 inning's of at bats. St Henry threw 3 pitchers I believe but I do not know their names. A couple of lefty's that threw mainly curve or off speed pitches.

Erik Goetz Leaves Holy Cross
That would be sweet. Brandon has always been very polite to me and I wish him the best.

Who will replace Alan Mullins at Ryle?
Is this comment meant as draw as in enrollment numbers? If so, Ryle is bigger than both schools I believe. I know nothing of Blevins or if he is a good coach but it sounds like their may be something personal between you and him. Did he cut your kid from an AAU team or something?

Top Pitchers in the 9 Region
I see where you're going with this but I do bet it was hard to get the "flame" going when it is 30 degree's. At least the pitchers won't have to ice their arms as they probably never got warm.

KHSBCA Preseason Rankings
That's why I said it is tough to rank state wide. They go a lot by how the team did last year. With the turnover in high school, it is a complete crap shoot most of the time. They should of at least looked at the local NKY ranking's and realized if coaches didn't put them in the top 10 up here, how can they be #25 in the state. They have two very good returning starters and then the rest are unproven.

CovCath vs Bishop Brossart March 15th
^I've seen Heppler throw and if he is "on" then he is a very good pitcher. I don't know many others on their team but they are always solid in the regular season.

NKY Pre-Season Coach's Poll
I'm not sure about others but I know Cooper has every returning pitcher back as well.

Schedule lots of Turf fields ?
It seems they have adjusted their fee as Cooper has atlest five games there this year. I think the Ryle coach has moved their district seeding game against Cooper on May 1st there as well. I love watching games there.

KHSBCA Preseason Rankings
That's a great start to your season. IMO, Cov Cath will be ranked sometime throughout the season as they have some nice players. They are always one of the top NKY teams in the regular season. They need to start winning on the turf in the regional as I've thought they under achieved there the last few years.

KHSBCA Preseason Rankings
I think it is very hard to do state wide preseason rankings. It's hard enough for the local coaches and press to do rankings. Also, if the other thread was true where Norton is not playing for Bishop Brossart, then that takes a HUGE bat and the best catcher in NKY out of their line-up so that would have to hurt.

Is Ryle Looking For A New Coach?
I did not picture him as a Psychologist..

Mike Flynn Resigns From Highlands
So he has two Soph's playing? Are they twins?

Madison Central 65 Holmes 61 (OT)
I'm not into doing research tonight but weren't you the one saying Cooper would lose by double digits and get blown out by Holmes and it wouldn't be close? Just saying..

9th Region
I'm looking forward to seeing these fine prospects. I love watching baseball and it's always nice to have big time talent to watch. Good luck to these players.

Top Pitchers in the 9 Region
Come on now. I like Kuebbing but unless something drastically happened since last Summer, he's not hitting 90.

3/2: 9th Region Semi Finals: Holmes (29-2) v Cooper (24-5) Predictions
^^ I believe Cooper rotated several guys on Bolden in their last matchup and they held him in check (for Bolden standards). It's been a frustrating year for big Lou with an ankle injury and then the rib injury many didn't know about. But, it's time for the big man to step up as he did last year in the regional. It's time for the guards to give it to him and Shelton down low so it will open up the three plus likely get Holmes' bigs in foul trouble. The last meeting Morgan picked up his dribble way too early on the press so he has to keep it alive even if he goes backwards until more help arrives. This game will be low scoring and I think it will be close one way or the other. Cooper hasn't had back-to-back bad shooting games all year that I remember. I look for AJ to hit his three's and I HOPE McNeil doesn't forget he can take over a game if needed and drive the lane and get to the line if nothing else. I hate that I will miss this game but 83 degree's in Phoenix was too much to pass up. Good luck Jag's!!!
