.................might be just me, but with what I've seen in the Regionals the last few years played at Champions Field (turf), I would schedule as many games as possible there to get my guys used to the field.......especially the pitchers with the mound that you can't dig into....and bunts that aren't slowed by grass........

I agree with you. I have noticed there may be more games scheduled at Freedom this year than I can remember.

True, Cooper has a couple there I believe.

One thing that the City of Florence and the Freedom has done a good job with is letting the teams use the facility, not sure of the details to use it but still its good for the teams, at least they can play on wet days.

I'm not aware of that.

 

Other problem with NKU is it's a terrible venue for fans.

EKU's infield is turf. St. X is all turf.

CovCath will play at NKU twice. First game is on March 28 vs NCC in a Reds Showcase game and again I believe vs. Elder but not sure of that date!

 

Indeed the infield is now Turf and the seating is still bad for the fans to the best of my knowledge!

Whitaker Bank Park is not turf. EKU and NKU are turf infields with NKU planning on going full turf in the future.
