  1. I will never buy a Ford!! Bought brand new 2002 Explorer for over 30k.. fuel pump went out at 17k, then transmission issue at 45k (warranty covered both). Then when warranty ended at 75k the real issues started. About 7 different wheel bearings, rebuilt transmission, rear end differential, some switch that controls cruise control, cracked plastic on rear hatch.. and I'm sure there are more. I looked up on the internet and found THOUSANDS of owners with the same exact issues and Ford would do nothing to even assist with repair costs. The service manager even admitted they are on their 4th fix on the wheel bearings and they still won't assist. I've kept the vehicle as I need a 4 wheel drive where I live and the interior and exterior are in mint shape and the ride is nice. I let the entire floor room full of customers know about their product the last time I was there. I'm about to go test drive a full size truck and let them get all the deals worked out and then tell them why I won't purchase it after I would have if they would have just admitted the issue that are published on-line for everyone to see... there, my 10,000 rant about Ford is over.
  2. I went to grade school and middle school with Craig but haven't seen him since as I had moved. I remember him as a very nice person. Very sad.
  3. Unless something changes it will be Marquis and Cueto's turn.
  4. Yes, throws curves as well. I'm told it's the one the pros have used for years but can't confirm.
  5. I have a Casey Pro 3 in excellent condition. Now that my sons college playing days are over there is no reason for me to hang on to it. You can Google it but it throws 90+ and I have ball feeder and bucket balls. $1200.. PM me if interested. I'm in NKY.
  6. I have little faith in Price as a manager but I'm not ready to throw in the towel on this season. There are not any great teams and the Red's are one of many mediocre teams that at least have a chance. Why follow this team if you are ready to give up on the season after the first month of six. They haven't even played one game out of their division. Their division is supposed to be the best top to bottom in the league and they basically are .500. I would like to atleast give it until July until I decided if I blow up the rest of the team. If Price stays out of the way and a couple relievers start to do their job then they have as good a chance as anyone.
  7. I always hate when I feel like the Bengal's will do well. It's usually the opposite happens. The first game, as bad as they were, is no indication of this game, imo. AJ Green was out, Burfict and Hall left the game early, and they were without Maualuga and Lamur I believe. The Bengals struggled big time early on when the starting LB's were first injured. Over the course of the season they improved a great deal. The sad part is Dalton looks bad in the first half of games but comes out the second half and seems to be pretty good but then you have the fumbles and drops by the Wr's and RB's. I just wish they would all play good at the same time. I think the Bengals will be able to run the ball and with Indy's O-Line issues the Bengal front four will get some pressure and the Bengals win 30-24.
  8. I had predicted a 15 pt win but I was told I had blue colored glasses. I guess so as they only won by 14. I think it was 15 at half though. A good win and much needed week between games. That's my opinion, but what do I know!!
  9. Lets see. Uk beats #5 Kansas by 32, beats #6 Texas by 12 and beats #25 Providence by 20 while UNC lost to unranked Butler and Iowa!!! So I have Blue colored glasses by thinking they can beat the #21 team by 15 :lol2: OK, whatever makes you feel good about your team. The only change is how does Poythress injury affect the team. I think they still win by 15 but what do I know.
  10. I think you all are letting the North Carolina "name" scare you into being a close game. I do not think they are an elite team and UK players will be ready because of the North Carolina name and they will be playing for their teammate in Poythress. It may be close for a while but I think it's a 15 point or better win for the Cats.
  11. That is great. I always follow Chris and Luke Mailes box scores each day during the season. I love to see the local kids do well. I believe there are two types of Rule 5 drafts. If you are selected on the Major league one I believe you have to stay on the 25 man or be offered back. I think there is a Minor league one as well and not sure how that works. Either way, Chris has played well and hope he continues to progress further.
  12. Saw on twitter that one talent evaluator says he would have traded Descalfani for Latos, straight up!!
  13. I think this is very unlike Marvin. I'm sure he regrets it as it may come back to haunt him. Or, he may not be worried as most coaches don't seem to believe Johnny will make it in the NFL. Either way, Cleveland will be even more fired up. But, then again, maybe the Bengals will be on edge and play better. On a side note.. listen to the clip with Sam Wyche above. The crowd noise is so different back then than it is now. I was at that game and the place was rocking. I go to very few games anymore but the atmosphere seems so different and we win more now so that's not an excuse (other than playoff's).
  14. I just trophy hunt anymore and Friday night was my second favorite hunt (1st was killing 160 class 12 pt) and I never pulled the trigger. It was about 5:20 and the snow was still on the ground and was cold enough where you could hear them coming. It sounded like a herd of cattle coming from behind me in a dead run. It ended up as two doe and last years yearling followed by FIVE bucks one after the other. The doe and yearling went right and the obvious "hot" doe went left right across my field in front of me about 50 yards out. The first three bucks looked to be 8 pts as long as they had their brow tines. It was hard to tell as they were full sprint. The fourth one looked bigger so I yelled as he hit the field to get him to stop. He did for about 3 seconds but I counted 5 pt on one side and at least 4 on the other but I couldn't tell if he had the other brow tine. I still wouldn't have shot but he was close to the size for me to hang on the wall. The first 4 bucks were about 10-15 yards behind each other. The 5th one was a 6 pt that was about 30 seconds behind. I wish I could of had it on film as I have never seen anything like it in 35 years of deer hunting. That one minute of excitement was worth all the hours I spent in the stand this Fall. Awesome!!
  15. My apologies for missing the click of the spacebar.
  16. I laughed as well. But, as soon as I heard it I said there are going to be people upset over it. Some folks need to get a life.
  17. I shoot everyone I see along with several other types of varmints that eat eggs of turkey, quail, etc.. I went outside the other evening and it sounded like 50 of them from all sides going back and forth yelping. As soon as deer season ends I'm investing in better calls to hunt them. If nothing else it's more time in the woods where I could stay all day if given the chance. Nothing like being in the outdoors.
  18. If you can't be with the one you love, love the one your with.
  19. Bengals are not good in prime time and Cleveland has lost 17 straight road division games. Something has to give. I say the Bengals win by double digits at home 28-14.
  20. Due to the "tie" the Bengals have the tiebreaker of best division record won't come into play unless another divison team gets a tie. The division tiebreaker comes into play if both teams have the same overall record. The Browns have not played well since Mack went out. If they had Mack and Gordon then they would be a serious threat to win the division. But, the Bengals will win this one by double digits.
  21. We just returned from a week in Maui celebrating #25.... great time and a fairly nice woman who puts up with me :lol2:
  22. I grew up in Florence in the 70's and Papa Dino's was our place for pizza and hoagies. My favorite is their fried ham and cheese with onions and mayo... too die for.. plus a pizza as they have the best sauce. We still make the drive out that way every few months to get my fix!!
  23. Believe it or not Dalton has thrown for about 15 yards and I think he has done all he can do. little makes 1st appearance and drops 1st down ball thrown right to him. He is know for drops. Nobody open and no time to throw but he hasn't turned it over. I'm watching on local tv in Maui and game started at 7am. Very odd time to watch football. They are still in game when they should be down by 30.
