The article I read said he has signed to play college ball at Howard Community College.

My guess is he goes Pro and not onto a community college!

Congratulations to Tanner, his family, Coach Verst and his staff, his summer coaches, and all who contributed to his being drafted.

 

Tanner is a five year varsity starter (8th-Simon Kenton) who has worked hard to achieve this goal.

 

He is the first-ever Brossart baseball player ever to be drafted by a Major League Baseball team.

 

Regardless of where this takes him, this is quite an achievement for Tanner and our high school!!!

13th round! Very nice! I also think being that high a pick that he will go pro.

Can't wait to read the Wednesday edition. Some folks were asking me tonight if he signed since others were mentioned this weekend in the paper yet he was not.

Congrats to Tanner and family. I can still remember when he joined our team at nine years old and watched his left handed swing in the cage. The ball just jumped off his bat even then. He has always treated me well and was a great catcher. Good luck to you kid!!
