Jeremy's most recent gig was Ryle frosh coach. I know he coached at CCH and Boone as well.

Is this confirmed? It was my understanding that they just posted the job this week. I was told that it had to be posted for at least 2 weeks before they could hire someone.

In general terms here, I thought the posting had to be 30 days. But either way schools subvert this all the time so nothing surprises me.

If he is a teacher in side boone co schools (if he was at ryle last year) than it is considered an inside the system hire and they can hire anytime.

He also coached at Ludlow for one year back in 2001. I think this is a great hire for Cooper, he is a great coach and a great person! Good luck to coach Collins!

Jeremy Collins is a great hire for the Cooper baseball program. My son enjoyed playing for him when he was freshman at Ryle.. As he will be saying at Cooper I am sure....."Boys you better get your legs loose you are going to run!"

I think he will find it as much a gain as theirs. He is walking into a Goldmine.

Don't think those boys didn't already run. They would run as much as the Cross Country team. Hopefully he sticks with the progression of the updated workout programs that Cooper had been doing. Will be good to talk to him to see where this part of his baseball knowledge is at.
