Holmes just needs to play their game and not overlook Jags. If Holmes overlooks Cooper coach Sully will hand them the L. Just like last night Holmes needs to be sharp early and not let teams get big leads on them and force them to come back. This was the case in their only two losses this year. Although they did come back in both those games it is not a position you want your team in but it is nice to know they can respond if the game does get away from them early. Holmes 60 to 50. Shooting has to improve for both teams from last night.

I'm surprised some people are picking Holmes by double digits. Dogs only beat Cooper by 6 in the first game and that was with Big Lou playing limited mins because of his ankle. Holmes was also dealing with some kids being sick/injured that game as well but I still think this game is within 10 either way.

The problem Cooper is going to face is not only do they have nobody who can check Bolden, if Holmes spreads them out like they did Newcath, the Jags simply aren't quick enough to defend them one on one. It will definetly take a team effort by Coach Sully's CoopSquad to get the dub.

It also doesn't help that Holmes thrives off confidence and they are coming in to this game with a lot.

I'm going to take Holmes to advance to the finals in a close game. Let's say:

Holmes 58

Cooper 51

Ttt... Two of the top 3 teams in the region and this falls to page 2???

I think holmes wit the help of james beetle boldin holmes will gain an early lead and wont look back 64 to 50

Bolden is too much. I'll take Holmes in this one. I look for them to be at Rupp next week.

I've been waiting all year for Cooper to be the Cooper I expected them to be this year. I think the early season footballers, Big Lou's issues has prevented them from being consistent this year. However it is do or die time for the Jags. I think they shake off the struggles against St. Henry and pull off the upset. It will be a close one, but Sully and company gets the win.

If I am Cooper, I guard Bolden man to man full court all night. Cooper has the depth to do that. Try to wear him down and take away his legs by the 4th quarter. Sub for the guy who is guarding Bolden every 4 minutes or so and keep intense pressure on him. I also would do what NCC did in the 4th quarter and double team Bolden in half court and force him to give up the ball or work hard for everything. I pound it inside to get Holmes interior players in foul trouble. Cooper has to make it a low scoring game to win IMO. They just don't have the shooters to get into a shoot out with Holmes or an up tempo game.

This, I think, is a necessity if you want to beat Holmes....
