Totally disagree. Sheppard is best “basketball” player in the team and it is not even close. Reeves and Dillingham can score night in and night out. Big Z will be a factor later in the year and one more year of seasoning he is a lottery pick.

I don’t care if Sheppard starts. Did not say anything about that. The 5 guys he starts cannot score consistently and it shows. Always fighting from behind early in games. Cost them at LSU and again last night.

Maybe so, but start of each game is a struggle because of the guys on the floor. One consistent scorer and the rest are role players.

Because in most games they are trailing and dysfunctional at start of game. Only guy that can score consistently is Reeves. I get what you are trying to say, but they have lost 9 games.

I too have seen one game. There is little to no height on the team which hurts. There just seems to be something missing and I could not put my finger on it. I do have a question for those that are closer to situation than I, where did all of the football guys go? It appeared from a quick look at rosters that Hicks is only footballer? I noticed a couple frosh guys listed on JV roster but they were not dressed?

That folks is what Kentucky football is. Play well for most of game and then wilt under pressure. Time for them to move on from Stoops. He has taken them as far as he is capable.

Frank, I know that you follow the Birds like I do in every sport. You make the statement about the youngsters in the program, which I have heard really good things about, but this seems to be a trend with the girls program over the last several years. Good young talent that doesn’t seem to make it to their Junior or Senior year. What is happening to cause this? Volleyball? Soccer? Softball?
