Here is the concern for Highlands, a letdown from this past week. They need to find a way to get reps and continue to work on developing some depth for games against CovCath and Elder.

I will tell you that this is the first game this season that Highlands "showed up'. Way more physical and quicker than Boyle. Driver would make difference, but not 28 points worth in first half. That was a butt whooping put on by the Birds in first half.

Could you elaborate a little on "play disciplined' and why is it a big if?

I am going to add a little perspective to this topic here. The 8th grade team has been to the championship game starting with the senior class that just graduated I believe. 3 years ago lost to Campbell County in OT (that group added Colt Kremer), 2 years ago got smoked by Campbell County (that group added Armstrong and Simon), last year won championship (Moeves and Wimzie) played frosh. Pointing out that middle school and frosh success has not led them to the promised land.

I think that would be the wishful thinking of the Fort Thomas faithful, but one step at a time.

And this is why the series needed to end. Really does Highlands no good and really hasn't for some time to play one of the largest schools in the state and games not be competitive.

I am not arguing the fact that Armstrong should not be put into compromising positions with a running clock. More commenting to the lack of depth at the QB position in the program.

The issue is lack of quarterbacks on the team. Backup is frosh Moeves who already plays Frosh and JV.

Those that want to sit Armstrong, what do you do for a QB? Remember that there are quarter limitations.
