I would like some clarification for those that are more in the know than I. Am I mistaken that Cooper was not the majorities pick to win this 5A district prior to games being played? If I am then I apologize, but if Cooper were to win this game I would not call it an upset by any means.

That is false to a point. The adjustment made at halftime was not offensively. It was to add a third linebacker and remove a defensive back. Reason I know is that my kid was that third linebacker.

The next Highlands coach is currently Moeller.

The last I checked Highlands won a state title in 2014 and got beat in the state semifinals in 2015. So not 6 years of futility, but the program had certainly started to accept losing.
