Or is there someone in Conner administration that has a bone to pick with Sully?
-
My understanding as well.
-
He is interested and Conner is not. Was told this morning that Conner admin had changed mind and was going to interview him. That was not correct. There are 3 serious candidates, all of which are currently in the system.
-
Pretty deep. Now being told the information regarding Sully was false and that choice may come down to 3 coaches that are already in the Boone County Schools district.
-
Well now hearing there may have been a change of heart by the Conner administration. Guess we will know something in the not too distant future.
-
My understanding as well. Conner admin chose to pass on Sullivan.

9th Region Off-Season Discussion (2024-2025)
Jack of all Trades replied to se7ens's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
1. Rondon from what I have been told is enrolled at Newport. 2. Reed (Mason County) been home hunting in NKY area. 3. Potential huge hire at Conner that impacts another local high school. -
Very well thought of coach, with good coaching record from a successful program in the area.
-
If what I am hearing is true, interviews will not be needed.

Any word on this job?

Might Austin Neff be a name for this job? -

You let an inferior team believe and get off to a good start because of the 5 you start the game with. Yes it snowballed. -

The infamous starting lineup set the tone for the game and it snowballed from there. -

So how did a basketball game conversation become about football and track? Highlands football is no longer relevant according to some, but yet always becomes part of the discussion. -

I have heard the grumblings all year. Biggest one was “daddy” ball. Kevin did not start coaching to coach his son for one. The few games I saw, didn’t see better options in the bench. As for the football kids not playing for the reasons I was told, weak. -

This talk about NDA basketball is the same thing that I asked about Highlands earlier this year. Funny thing is that Frank provided the same answer as is being claimed here. Girls play multiple sports early and then turn focus on one. Club soccer is without question the worst at feeding kid’s parents ego that the only way to a scholarship is through a focus on soccer when it really is all about the $$$$.

Totally disagree. Sheppard is best “basketball” player in the team and it is not even close. Reeves and Dillingham can score night in and night out. Big Z will be a factor later in the year and one more year of seasoning he is a lottery pick. -

I don’t care if Sheppard starts. Did not say anything about that. The 5 guys he starts cannot score consistently and it shows. Always fighting from behind early in games. Cost them at LSU and again last night. -

Maybe so, but start of each game is a struggle because of the guys on the floor. One consistent scorer and the rest are role players.
