To be very honest, Highlands is trying a lot of “cute” things in this game.

Is he? It had been my understanding that many were not enamored with him as a quarterback. I will say this, I watched the young man play last year at the 8th grade level and he is a “football” player. There are several in that group that are wired the same way. The dumbest thing I heard was that 5 frosh played the entire JV game before the frosh game. Come on coaches you have to be better than that. Parents don’t let this even occur. If a frosh is good enough to play JV then that is where they play. If not, that is what frosh ball is there for. You have a kid that got 3 snaps in a varsity game on Friday that was asked to play?

You have your opinion and I have mine. I think Highlands was and is the better team at this point in time.

Guess we did not watch the same game. A pick six, a short field on a muffed punt and first score aided by penalties. As they say the best team doesn’t always win the game. To say one team “dominated” over the other is just a flat out false statement.

JV was 28-27 Birds. Frosh was 20-14 Colonels.

Is that the way it works now? Am I correct that this is high school football?

For Highlands they played both JV and Frosh. Litmer gets no snaps at JV level.

That last drive by CovCath results from poor coaching and lack of composure. Play zone Bob and get out of man. Protect the lead.

Game will be won at the line of scrimmage and I liked what I saw against Male. I don’t like to make public picks.

This game starts on time. Not feeling bad at all.
