The problem with trading Tee Higgins is putting faith in the front office who has proved over and over and over again they cannot evaluate talent. I think guy they took in third round a few years ago cannot get on the field. Nuff said.

Having a few days to think about this game, the word I would use is disappointing. Lack of fan support, no band, Birds looked unprepared and honestly quite flat for a playoff game of this magnitude. First dropped pass aside, Corbin physically dominated on both sides of the ball. Coaches from Corbin were loud and motivating, despite the complainers in the home section. Rather have coaches with passion than not. Birds made no defensive adjustments and Corbin just wore them out in the run game. Congrats to the Redhounds and good luck this weekend.

You are correct, I misspoke. He does not teach currently and has not taught past the first year at HHS.

My concerns are what they have been all year and are all the more important now in week 3 of playoffs. 1) Playcalling - been improved over last 6 plus weeks, but importance is amplified at this stage of playoffs. 2) Pass coverage - this team is susceptible to routes run in the seams deep. 3) Return game - does not appear to be any type of scheme to potentially break one. With all of that said, they have played a tough schedule and have a good record to show for it. Work on the edges defensively has been really solid and tackling has improved. QB has realized that not all passes have to be a homerun and results show that. At the end of the day, as 22 goes so go the Birds. Kid has what you cannot teach, but the team rallies around is competitiveness and energy. Good luck to both teams and the Blue Colonels.
