To be very honest, yes I expect it to be a running clock. If the game is close, then it may be time for Birds to reevaluate some things. I fully expect Highlands to throw, throw and throw some more. A lopsided score will silence the naysayers a little, but IMO the issue still exists on the offensive side of the ball until they can defeat a big time opponent.

My concern and reasons for optimism are based on the same thing. The thing that has really hurt the last couple of years was becoming too one dimensional. You now have a dual threat QB, but don’t put all of the weight on him. The run game should be able to punish teams when trying to take the passing game away.

No team has gone 162-0. It is about winning series. The Reds biggest problem is they have too many guys that cannot hit the ball. Cannot win many games with 2 or 3 hits.
