I see a low scoring game, especially if it rains. Does Colerain have turf?

Wow, I didn't think anyone would take my kidding remark so seriously, maybe that's why NCC and Highlands don't play each other any longer. Too emotional of a game.

A lot closer game than final score, 8-8 going into 4th quarter. As expected though, HHS was much bigger up front and wore NCC down. I left with 1:00 to go and the score was 21-8. I guess Highlands must have gone 80 yards in the last minute. Thought they would take a knee. Maybe that's why Mr. Schneider won't play the varsity Birds.

NCC'S website says 5:30 ???

SK scored first after NCC turnover then NCC put on an offensive clinic scoring 31 unanswered points before half. I knew NCC had a lot of offensive weapons but was still surprised by the score. 37-8 before NCC subs took over.

I would have loved to see the freshman play each other the last few years, but I'm afraid this year NCC won't give them much of a game. From what I've heard the skilled positions are pretty good but not enough bigs.

Jake's out with cut knee, maybe another month. Might get in some special teams.

Almost all Seniors on both sides of the ball. Maybe 2 or 3 jrs., no soph's unless Chris Kelly gets some time when he comes back.

He is starting at both WR and DB and doing a very good job at both.

Breds gave up some early yards on the ground before they woke up. Long run on first play, Holmes didn't get much after that. Breds have a lot of weapons this year. They are more talented than last year, Seniors are really good. Maybe lack the intensity of last years team however.

All sophomores are turnover prone, he'll be fine this season.

That's the right thing, even though it makes Holmes better. He seems like a good kid, I'm glad for him.

Don't get your hopes up for a good game however. NCC doesn't seem to be too strong. It's a shame the couldn't have played the last few years when NCC had very good freshman teams.

It's not a battle it's a discussion. Why does the basketball and baseball teams need to be flexable but the football teams do not? There were kids going to football practice during the day and playing in the 9th region baseball tournament at night. Tell me that makes sense.

There have been several families including siblings of past players that have gone to different schools because of coach McDonald, that is the only reason that her time was up. A private school cannot aford that.

He is very good, they'll both be missed at Fairview.
