Bellevue names Mike Herald as Boys' Head Coach!

Congratulations on Bellevue for getting a great hire for the program! Let's hope he establishes some stability and works with the youth programs:thumb:

Great hire for Bellevue, good coach and even a better person.

Mike has had success at numerous schools, but never stayed very long. The biggest question is how long will he stay? Bellevue desperately needs someone to stay at least 5 years. Isn't this the 5th coach in 8 years? Swags, Listerman, Minor, Vories and Herald.

His name sounds familiar, where has he coached? Beechwood?

There was anotherone in between Minor and Vories wasn't there?

Good luck to the tigers and to Coach Herald

Correct, I forgot Wolfzorn. So that is 6 in 9 years.

From what I have heard he plans to stay 4-5 years, and groom his assistant and JV coach for the job when he decides to retire

Should we assume that Nick wilson will be the assistant he is going to groom?

Who would be the second longest tenured coach, behind Swauger, if the administration didn't have their heads up their rear ends...

Mike will do a terrific job...

The key person of this administration and the key to the placement of their heads is fortunately no longer at Bellevue.:ylsuper:

Great man. Great coach. Good luck Harold!

I would have to agree with that.

I'm not sure we're all talking about the same person but...

Bellevue's administration only had one person that would fit your previous description and thankfully to all the supporters of Bellevue and to the players that person is working in the private sector (from what I hear).

Nonetheless, I wish Coach Herald and his assistants the best of luck this year
