I agree, if NCC gets beat this year, it will be through the air. Pass defense might be their only weakness.

Once again Kelly and Kues were outstanding for the Breds. And how about Joey Cox being in their backfield all night. Great game Joey.

I'm sure Ft. Campbell's defense is very good giving up only 89 pts., but they haven't played the schedule NCC has with four 6A teams, a 5A and Beechwood on their schedule.

Another reason to do away with this first round of playoffs.

Totally agree, I counted 46 games with lopsided scores of 35 points or more. The buy week and the first round of the playoffs need to be eliminated. Finals need to be the weekend of Thanksgiving, like it used to be.

NCC won for one reason, they play a much tougher schedule. They were much more battle tested.

NCC plays Friday 12/26 but don't know who they play yet.

Might be the only close game in the entire first round. All others are 30 pt. blowouts. Might want to eliminate this round, waste of time.

The lower arena holds about 5000 seats and believe me, it will be perfect for both the 9th and 10th regional games. I imagine the end zones will be reserved for students, everything else will be reserved seating.

That would be great but how would you qualify. Some teams have only played a couple JV games.

That's exactly right and that makes the first two weeks of the playoffs terrible. In many cases, the No. 1 seeds will have their easiest games of the year next week. You'll see many 45+ pt. wins.

I'm going to miss watching NCC's big 3 seniors. WOW, 3 division I players on the same team. Might be the best NCC team in any sport ever.

I would like to see him catch some though, he has a very strong arm that would keep runners from stealing; like Pabst did last year.

Without a JV game, how do the sophomores develope?

It will be interesting to see if Mark Kelly is going to want to catch or let his little brother compete with Lohr for the job. It's nice to have so much depth, all are good catchers.

Logan's a track star now, getting some looks from Morehead and others. With that said though, he could help the baseball team with his great speed and bat.

How many JV football games has your school played? I know of a couple schools that have only played 2 so far.

I agree, go back to 4 classes or do away with in some cases all 4 teams going to the playoffs. 2 is plenty from each district.
