CalPreps has released some of their information regarding preseason statewide rankings, and it seems that they have Highlands preseason no. 1 in all of Kentucky. This should get some folks in Louisville talking! Go 'Birds!

I disagree. I am not a fan of any of the teams I will mention; I just think that Trinity and St.X can beat Highlands (it would be a GREAT game, though).

Just wondering, what is Highlands record against T and X over the last 10 - 15 years, or have they played? Anyway Congrats to Highlands as this is a testament to the great program you have up there.

I always root for the NKy teams, and I respect HHS very much, but..... being better than X or T, don't think so, at least not this season!

 

BTW, not even sure if HHS is the best team in 5A this season from NKy, much less the best team in the Commonwealth.

 

St. X does play in NKy this season, but it's at CovCath on Saturday November 8th. My guess is a lot of HHS fans just might be over to watch that game.

CalPreps also has the Birds at #14 in the country. Go Birds!

I think CCH better earn their keep before predicting them to be better. Lets not forget the drubbing they took in the playoffs. I dont care how many seniors the Birds lost.

 

CCH has potential to be the best but not yet. Birds have that spot due to their undefeated record and recent state championship.

I'd love to know how they figure that. Nothing against FTH but I don't think it would be to hard to come up with a list of 20 or so teams nationwide that could handle the Bluebirds.

Great post. To be considered the best you have to beat the best and HHS is the king of the hill right now.
