You might want to look at the SOHS track record over the years in varsity football games on the road vs good teams. If you do, I have no idea how you predict Cooper only scores 22 and only wins by 6.

What happened way back in August will have minimal impact other than each team likely feels they have a decent chance to beat the other team. A “pick ‘em” type game.

This is one of those 1st round games…… Grant County and their fans will be on the road for at least a 6 hour round trip only to take a major butt whipping. Thankfully for them the weather will be pleasant. There are some years where a 1st round game like this is played in rain and a raw 40 degrees.

1st order of business- Fix the out of state component. Examples: Boyle County should be rewarded for beating a top tier program such as Cleveland St. Edwards. Trinity should be rewarded for beating a top tier program such as Cincinnati St. Xavier. Not asked to drop the game from calculation and certainly not penalized with a .51 for winning such a game.

No need for the Southern bus driver to turn the bus engine off.

Nothing to talk about except the awfully long round trip bus trip for the Panthers from Dixie Highway to Northern KY for a butt whipping.

South Oldham simply does not win big games on the road against good teams. Cooper advances fairly easily.

Reminder….this bracket only shows matchups for rounds 1 and 2. Matchups for rounds 3 and 4 are determined by RPI rankings for those teams still playing.

Regardless of what other top high schools do across the nation, no high school football team will ever be crowned national champion with Taylor, Russell, Lincoln and Wayne counties on their schedule. Simply no way.

PT with a ? ⏰ early and often…… then they need to pull their starters and start the month long prep for a Franklin County or Boyle playoff game.

The Flyers put yet another lower class loss on a 6A team.

Station wins and hopefully comes out of this game with a healthy roster for the playoffs.

I have a feeling that BE will give Male all they want. This game could be competitive until late in the 4th quarter.

This is the equivalent District game of Male/Southern and Trinity/Eastern. Running clock early and often.
