The playoffs are finally here and what do the Cooper Jaguars get in return for their undefeated regular season? A date with the Dragons of South Oldham. South Oldham makes the trip up to suburban Boone County to face a Jaguar squad that features a dynamic offense piloted by quarterback Cam O’Hara who has 34 touchdowns to just two interceptions. 

South Oldham is 7-3 and was relegated to this spot after a narrow 42-41 loss to Collins. They are not to be overlooked and have stacked up well against basically every team they have faced with the exceptions of their out of state opener and a 28-7 district loss to Scott County.

Cooper is without their two side phenom and UNC commit Alexander but look for Ryker Campbell to continue to rise up to the challenge and command the defense.

South Oldham may keep it competitive for a bit but I think Cooper is too explosive to contain for a prolonged period of time.

The South Oldham lost to Collins. Has now given Cooper probably one of the tougher roads to State for any one seed. Looking at a path of South Oldham, Scott  County, Southwestern possibly in the 3rd. Then Highlands, and either Bowling Green or South Warren in the State Championship. 
 

With that said while the road may be tough. Coach Borchers and his staff always do a great job having their team play their best football at the end of the year, and they definitely will have the team focused and ready for the challenge ahead starting this week. I look for Cooper to keep doing what they have done all year, and that is keep winning. 

South Oldham simply does not win big games on the road against good teams. Cooper advances fairly easily. 

South Oldham will try to run the ball and control the clock. Use the RPO when necessary. that's pretty much their MO. I have a hard time seeing them stop O’Hara and his group through the air. If Cooper plays turnover free they win this game probably somewhere in the realm of 42-14. But if South Oldham can get a turnover or two like they did against Woodford the dynamic changes entirely. Will be an interesting matchup but likely a big Cooper win.

I do not believe the exact answer is known but I would tell you I have heard at least not expected in the first three rounds, and he may not return even beyond that. But I want to assure you that is pure rumor mill.

Cooper rolls and wins by 30+.
