The big Question?  Which South Oldham team shows up?  The one that physically beat a bigger Woodford County into the turf on both sides of the ball.  Or the team that defensively "no showed" against a very poor Collins team.  I think Cooper should take this game very seriously, South Oldham might be the most dangerous 4 seed in the state, all classes.    My prediction......Cooper wins 22-16, with half of the team "banged up" and state title hopes dashed.

The South Oldham lost to Collins. Has now given Cooper probably one of the tougher roads to State for any one seed. Looking at a path of South Oldham, Scott  County, Southwestern possibly in the 3rd.

You must have been at a different WOFO vs SO game than the one I went to.

You might want to look at the SOHS track record over the years in varsity football games on the road vs good teams. If you do, I have no idea how you predict Cooper only scores 22 and only wins by 6.

Right, that game went down to the final drives for both teams. Every game between these two districts is good and I am sure no one is taking anyone for granted.

South Oldham will be trying to grind out long, physical drives that eat a lot of clock and shorten the game. Not sure if their defense can contain a very good passing attack too often. With both teams having a week off to prepare and some good football weather predicted, I only wish I could be there. Will be watching from home what I hope will be a great game!! Good luck Dragons!!

Teams that have tried this against Cooper already this year.  It will not bode well for them.  Cooper offense can strike quick and often.  Special teams returners Ryker Campbell and Jaidan Combs generally flip field position to start in or close to plus territory.

Austin Alexander is cleared to play tonight.  UNC coach in attendance too.  Interested to see if AA plays both sides of the ball.

Cooper received opening kickoff and start at own 31.

O’Hara to Combs for a 45 yard gain.  Ball on SO 13

Keagan Maher off the left side on 1st down for 13 yard rushing touchdown.  PAT good.

Cooper lead 7-0, 11:03 1Q

5 plays, 69 yards in 57 seconds.

That was way, way too easy.  SO better get it in gear or this is a running clock.

Dixon returns kickoff to SO 39.

Alexander played offense to start the game.  Not in on defense.

edit: Nevermind.  He’s on Defense

SO with an Aussie punt to Cooper 11.
