Carson Palmer

Featured Replies

It would be great to see Carson go to another organization and have tremedous success. Either Bengal fans would have to admit that as long as Mike Brown stays at the top, NOTHING will change and adandon the team as fans, or simply make more excuses and blaming it on the players and coaches.

Soooo, you would rather see Bengals fans be in more pain. A multiplied pain because Carson would be doing good...

That's just brutal. Are you human, where is your heart?

If Palmer plans to play for the Bengals or anyone else, I think he will be taking a cut in pay. If not, he won't be playing.

I read this morning that it's likely the Bengals will not have TO, Benson, and 85 next season. Palmer may be begging to move on.

TO and Chad would not surprise me at all. Hopefully Benson doesn't leave, he's one of the best parts of the offense.

Let me rephrase that, hrcarrier said "If Palmer plans to play for anyone other than the Bengals, I think he will take a pay cut."

Now is the time to cut him with the non cap and the new CBA not in place. However, they are NOT going to cut him.

Rather you guys see it ain't the qb or coach's fault for the continual pain and suffering and don't expect anything to changed unless Mike Brown changes.

The Bengals have some major talent. The problem is that the coaching is horrible! I mean yeah Carson is pretty bad and we should think of replacing him and the OL really do suck but you have to admit that the bengals managing is VERY BAD. Not to mention that Mike Brown is WAY to involved with his team.

Interesting stat line against a team fighting to win their division. There were some drops today too.

I was at the game, and on the way home listening on the radio. They talked about how in this game, it was the fewest amount of drops by Bengal Receivers this season. So we had receivers today who didn't drop passes, and ran the right routes. I don't think its a coincidence that Palmer then looked like his old self today. Its funny we don't hear as many Palmer bashers on here today, and how they say it has been mainly Palmers fault. I think we have seen the last two weeks, that a lot of it really did have to do with receivers droopping passes and not being in the right spots. We haven't seen any miscommunication the last two weeks, and Palmer has looked good again.

Maybe it's easier to play QB when you don't have two ego maniacs at Wr. No pressure to satisfy guys every single play.

Nice game CP. QB's are the easiest scapegoats, keep your head up.

Beyond the drops and correct routes, I heard some talk this week about the WR's were blocking downfield for Benson last week when he ran for 151 yards. Implying that hasn't been the case all season and part of the reason why the running game had been lacking.

I think the receivers have been a bigger problem than just not running right routes or catching the ball, or blocking. The last two weeks we had Benson talking about that, and just seeming to be happy. Then this week I was at the game, and I have never seen Palmer more excited. After the pass to Simpson for his first touchdown, Palmer fired up. It was awesome to see, he even talked about after the game how it was just fun out there playing with those guys today.

Carson is the best QB the Gals have had in a long time. I do subscribe to the theory, that there is no reason to think Mike Brown can find a better one. I guess in Bungledom, it makes more sense to make the comparisons within the organizations standards, and not to the standards of the league. That falls completely on management.

100% in agreement.

I feel the same way about Marvin Lewis and Mike Brown's ability and willingness to find a better coach.
