January 3, 201115 yr If Palmer thought that it was 3rd down on the last play, he should be cut immediately. It sure does explain why he threw it away though. I know he's inaccurate, but that was bad even for him.
January 3, 201115 yr I really doubt that he thought it was 3rd down. Jeesh. Maybe he thought his receiver was ten foot tall?
January 3, 201115 yr Maybe he thought his receiver was ten foot tall? Neither Yao Ming, Dwight Howard, nor Blake Griffin wouldn't have even sniffed that ball.
January 3, 201115 yr Maybe he thought his receiver was ten foot tall? Maybe it was a bad throw. The loss wasn't a big deal. I'm not sre how the tie breakers worked but they ended up with a top 5 pick and the 4th place schedule.
January 3, 201115 yr Still just believe he has lost the edge, he can have his good days he is more like a #2 now the whole Shaun King, Kitna Hill. He is still serviceable but if the Bengals are relying on him to take them to the SB it probably isn't the best idea. Someone like Freeman is the exact opposite he is gaining the edge and swag.
January 3, 201115 yr I too think he thought it was 3rd down. Probably but I think he also saw the pick six coming out of the corner of his eye.
January 3, 201115 yr Probably but I think he also saw the pick six coming out of the corner of his eye. Well he certainly knows what one of THOSE looks like.
January 3, 201115 yr Well he certainly knows what one of THOSE looks like. That was the best laugh I had all night!
January 3, 201115 yr SO the question will likely be answered in the coming weeks, which is gone? CP, or Lewis, or both. I think one or the other deserves a second chance but not both. Something just isn't right in the jungle and I can't quite put my fingure on it.

I doubt he goes, could we do better yes, could we do worse yes.

The better question is will we?......I honestly don't know what to think at this point, I just want some iprovement, It really doesn't even have to be drastic improvement, they were in just about every game this season with the exception of 2 or 3 but changes MUST be made.

Yeah I agree, if they fix other problems that will provide immediate improvement. Coaching staff, get a quality lineman, draft a pass rusher beside Dunlap. Bengals are really missing a playmaker on D, between our LB's and Safetys we really don't have one, that could change a lot on D if we did, especially with good cover corners.
