Carson Palmer

Haven't you been paying attention? Palmer has no problems to fix. Now since we can't pin it out 81 and 85, we just have to sit here and wait for the apologists to tell us what or whom to blame...

I can't wait to here it. these guys are gonna have to get pretty creative to clean up that mess.

Who was the best QB on the field in that game? That has been my point about Palmer all year. He's just as good as a lot of guys that get credit for being good. I think he's better than Flacco and Sanchez and people consider them good. They have a lot more issues than just CP. If INT's tell the entire story I'm surprised Drew Brees is a starter.

Palmer makes bad throws. I think I've said that 100 times. I actually don't think he played that bad today. The INT in the end zone was a bad throw but the first one was a play where he wanted the receiver to make a play and Ed Reed made a play.

Really, for us, it's hard to tell how much is on the recievers. We don't the routes, we don't know the hots. The one game that I went to this season, we had endzone seats. Perfect seats to see the routes develop, and who is coming open. Play after play Palmer locked on one guy then threw into coverage, while he had open guys down the field. I knew from that point that he was pretty much done. Whatever he did have he has lost. And like we all know we're gonna have to live with him for a few more seasons. He's the QB. He's the only person that touches the ball on ever offensive play. Playing good a couple games out of the season is not acceptable.

If they had an NFL caliber kicker they win today even with the CP mistakes right?

I been to 4 games this year, two of them I had end zone seats too, and two of them I was up high on the 50 yard line. I seen two games with Chad and To playing, and I seen the last two games at home with its been Simpson and Caldwell. I agree Palmer was locking on to one guy a lot with TO, and Chad it seemed like he was trying to force it to them. Then not to mention it does not matter if someone is open to us, if he is not in the right spot. The QB has to make the decision before the receiver usually gets out of his cut to get open. What I seen when Simpson, and Caldwell playing was Carson not locking on to one guy as much, we seen no miscommunication at all with each guy looking at each other wondering where the other was going with it. I also seen the ball coming out of Palmers hand a lot quicker, because he knew for sure where the receivers was going. Which is why we haven't seen many sacks not either.

I am in agreement with you that Palmer has to be play better more consistently, and if not then I agree there needs to be a change and go with the young guy that they hopefully draft. However I just don't see him as the main problem as some seem to think. I think going by most of the players comments too, and even the coaches most of them don't think Carson was the main problem either. Its very interesting hearing players and even former players talking about Palmer, and how much easier it is when he has his receivers going to the right spots. You have not seen any players back up Chad or TO, even TJ who is friends with Chad took a shot at Chad this week before the game and how he doesn't go to the right spot a lot.

Probably right. So let's rip the 3rd kicker they have had this season. Not the franchise QB. You guys are amazing

I thought you were done posting about this? Told you that you need to stop saying that, because your always back. I have not changed what I have said the last few weeks, they do need to draft a QB. I would love to get like a Lockkard in the 2nd round. However you can't argue that Palmer and all the timing looks much better with receivers in the right spots. Palmer needs to portect the ball better obviously, but he is a guy that they should keep around for next year. If he struggles then play the young guy.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I'm being dead serious that they win with an NFL caliber kicker right? What is amazing about that statement. I said Palmer made mistakes right? What more do you want from me? Palmer is as good as Flacco and he was in this game. They have a pro bowl caliber kicker and the Bengals have a nobody. That was the difference in the game. They missed a chippy and didn't try any more. True or False?

The difference in the game was the 5 turnovers Cincy committed.

Yet they still could have won and would have had they made a chip shot FG in the first half IMO. The TO that cost them the most wasn't Plamer either it was the Simpson fumble.

You haven't chimed in yet on who the better QB on the field was. Neither has mali. I think I know the reason.

I'd take Flacco any day.

I'm sure you would, but that doesn't mean he's better and it wasn't the question I asked. He certainly wasn't today or the last time they played. Or the 2 times they played last year. I've never seen him play a game and came away impressed. I admittedly only see him a few times a year though.

Look. these guys will never get the fact that Carson the Great is not so great. Turns it over three times and they want to blame the the 3rd kicker they've had on the roster.

Look you two need to get a clue. Seriously. Even when people say he played bad or isn't as good as they thought you all act like people are calling him great. Nobody is yet you two continue to act like that is the case.

It's true so what are you so mad about? Those 2 things have nothing to do with each other. We know Carson isn't good but probably could have won that game if we didn't have a surfer who sells houses as the kicker. It's not making an excuse for Palmer he had 3 turnovers and gods knows what he was doing on the last throw.

He's a better QB than Palmer. Pretty simple. Instead of judging guys on one a two games, take a look at the whole season. That probably won't make a difference though. You've watched Carson Palmer all season and think he's a good QB.
